This vacuum works wonders! My carpet has never looked cleaner! It sucks up more dirt than I expected and my allergies have definitely improved. I have two cats as well so I am eliminating more cat hair with the Shark's powerful suction. Happy with my purchase! And incredibly pleased at the fact that I missed a sale by one day yet still received that sale price since I mentioned it. No questions, just a smile. That's a story I keep sharing. Best Buy cares about the customer.

Very good vacuum cleaner. Very powerful and easy to use. Relatively lightweight. Have used this brand for number of years so when I needed a new vacuum I purchased a Shark.

Finally a vacuum that really does work! This wonderful Shark goes from my floor to carpet with ease not missing anything. Easy to clean too! I've have many vacuums in my lifetime and this is by far the best ever! AND at a great price!

Purchased this product a few days ago. Now that I have used it a number of times, there are things I like and dislike about the product. My home includes a husky and a husky-shepherd mix... Two shedding breeds, so I am vacuuming multiple times a day. Likes: *Product was very easy to put together *It's light weight so very easy to move up and down stairs *It maneuvers well around corners Dislikes: *The cord is too short. It would be better if it had at least another foot. This vacuum won't reach the same lengths that my previous Shark would reach from the same plug. *The suction is TOO strong. Even adjusting the suction nozzle to the lightest setting, I am not able to run this vacuum on any rug in the house. In addition to not being able to vacuum the rugs, when I set the vacuum to carpet mode, even at the lightest suction, I have to push and pull to get it to move. I shouldn't have to work this hard to simply vacuum my carpets. This is a problem and I'm considering returning it for this reason. Perhaps the folks at Shark can make some adjustments here to improve the machine. *No light. I didn't realize this product did not have a light. At the price point of $230, I think a headlight should be standard. I can't rate this Shark a five, but I also would not rate it a one. I'm right in the middle.

Powerful and lightweight vacuum. The light weight is nice for both standard rolling vacuuming and for detached cannister vacuuming.

I love this vacuum! It is so light and the suction is amazing. One issue we’ve had is that the hose broke off. I’ve use a glue to secure it back on. Other than this, I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

Ordered this when it was on a steep discount, with the intent of using it as a backup for the main vacuum (i.e. for small cleaning jobs). But while it is small, it makes up for its size in power! It is getting equal use (or maybe more) than the main vac. Pros: Very good suction power Can run with or without brushroll Good attachments Lightweight/maneuverable Easy to empty bin without a mess Cons: Cleaning path not very wide (would not want to use for large carpeted areas) Wand reach is a bit short Dust bin fills quickly Overall, the good points outweigh the bad, and I'm glad I bought it!

Amazing. I put this vacuum together in about 5 minutes without even reading the guide, very easy. So much power in an extremely light design. So easy to maneuver under tables and beds. Every shark product I’ve used is amazing quality, and this does not disappoint. Works great on wood floors picking up dirt and debris, pet hair etc. Tight corners are a breeze by pushing a button, pulling the wand off the base and aiming it. Push another button and the carpet roller speeds like a runaway train and scrapes every fiber off of the carpet. The power this vacuum has is only comparable to an old Kirby I had, a 1992 model, weighed about 20 pounds, made of metal, and would suck the carpet right off of the base boards. This lightweight Shark will suck the baseboards right off of the frame. Can’t recommend enough!

So far, the vacuum is worth the money ≈ 160ish on sale. The suction is very strong, at least while it is brand new. The canister can empty from the top and bottom. The attachments are not great, in my opinion, because one is more of a lint brush and the other suction pipe/cone is too short. The hose, when in detached mode, is stiff, probably because it is still new, but it is effective. It is a little awkward using the hose in detached mode because you have to hold the entire handle which is cumbersome. The swivel function is a great touch and the vacuum head seems to agitate well resulting in a lot of captured dust. The vacuum is very good, not perfect, but I give it five stars for quality at the sale price.

I had a Dyson for at least 12 years and needed to replace it. The Shark Navigator is a very good substitute for the Dyson and a lot less expensive. Great suction, light weight, and easy on/off attachments. A slight negative is the length of the cord. I recommend the Shark Navigator especially if you have an animal that shreds. I fill the container fairly quickly.

Fantastic lightweight vacuum!! I call it Mighty Mac. I was looking for a lightweight vac for easy cleanups - this model is perfect! Fantastic suction and easy dust removal compartment. I only had it for two months but I’m happy to not lug around my floor canister model. I save that for bigger jobs.

Great power. I love the fact that the entire agitator brush assembly, including the motor, is a separate unit. The motor directly drives the brushes. No worries about belts anymore. It has quite a bit of suction for its size and cleans carpets and tile very well. I was a bit worried about the smaller vacuum head, thinking it would take longer to vacuum, but the fact that it is so powerful and efficient, it actually cut down the time, plus the head fits into tighter spots.

This vacuum is the best I have ever owned. It is light-weight, powerful and so easy to use. Every attachment swivels so they can be used at all angles. The vacuum itself swivels just like the more expensive ones, but at a much better price. The suction adjustment is a great feature. Best of all is the ease of cleaning the canister. I remember trying to get "one more room clean" before having to dump the canister because it was so much a chore in itself. Now, it's so easy and I do it whenever needed to allow for maximum cleaning performance. I bought a Hoover instead of this and I regret it. This vacuum is amazing!

Bought this Shark to replace my Dyson which I had for years (and put through some heavy duty cleaning -- I still have it as a backup). The Shark is powerful and cleans very well. It's strong and pretty lightweight. Converting it from an upright to a carry canister is a cool feature -- but it's a bit heavier than I expected. Emptying the canister and cleaning the filter is pretty effortless. I took off a star for two reasons: the accessory holder (tools fall out during cleaning) and I like the manueverbility and (tool accessibility) of the Dyson a tad bit more.

I really hadn't used the new vacuum until just recently and I couldn't believe how much soil it could lift. I have a Kirby vacuum that has different levels you can vacuum with and has a control to make it easy to vacuum and bags can be changed. We bought this vacuum to use downstairs so I didn't have to carry the Kirby up and down. For being a reasonably priced tool I am so happy in it's performance.

it has done an amazing job of being versatile and thoroughly cleaning the carpets let alone with suction power! It is lightweight and moves around easily with leads to much less weight for you to pull around and less strain on your spine. It comes with two attachments that are very useful. My only caveat with this machine is that it doesn't come with a fancy feature where when you press on the button, the cord automatically winds up inside the vacuum. But overall it's a great vacuum for my apartment!

A few years ago I bought a Dyson but I end up giving it away once I moved & didn't have carpet any more. When I bought my new home with over 1500sqft of carpet, I spent a couple of months trying to decide between spending so much on another Dyson or risk buying something cheaper and risk getting less quality. After ready over 200 reviews & gettting references from multiple associates, I chose this Shark. This vacuum is very lightweight, has excellent suction, & is very easy to empty & clean.
