I purchased a Shark 3 in 1 machine for myself and liked it so much I purchased this Shark for my parents. They've had many name brand vacuums over the years and comment every time they use this Shark that they wish they would have spent a little extra and gotten such a great vacuum that actually works really really great before. If you're looking for a perfect basic vacuum this one is it.

Light weight, great suction and many attachments that work great

we had a a Dyson ball vacuum and it did not pick up every fiber or all the dirt that was left behind. But this shark vacuum changed everything our carpets and home feel cleaner and softer. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone.

I like it because it is light weight and has a lot of power.

Got this to replace my dyson. This sweeper is the bomb. The suction on this sweeper surprised me. I have three dogs that shed and did not realize how much was being left behind after I swept with my old sweeper. Just to test it, I ran over a spot once and omg the difference.

This is the best vacuum i have ever had. Lightweight but very powerful.

Thought this would be good for stairs because of the lift-away feature however the brush attachment for this feature only works via the air flowing through it so it does not clean as deep as a powered brush attachment and since stairs tend to get dirt embedded I think this is an important thing to look for. Not sure if it exists on more expensive units. Other than that this model works very well on hard surfaces and carpet.

I was replacing a 10 yr+ old Dyson. I did not have high hopes but this thing is a power house.

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. It has great and powerful suction, picks up what my previous vacuum(Hoover) left behind. I love the fact that I don't have to purchase bags to replace, all I have to do is empty the container. I do have to add that this replaced a 10 year old vacuum. Don't think twice about this vacuum just go out and get it, you won't be disappointed.
