We'd love to advise you that the this unit has a suction control slider to the bottom of the handle where you can increase or decrease suction, this should definitely fix your problem. Great Vacuum especially for dog hair

I am so glad I did I absolutely love this vacuum. We are amazed with how much we vacuum up whenever we vacuum. I love the lift away for the stairs. Love it!!!

Love my Shark vacuums

My old Shark finally gave out so I bought 2 more. For this price, you can't go wrong. I got this one for $100. I have multiple long haired dogs so having 2 vacuums is a necessity. Love my Shark and will never buy anything else.

The old one (about 3 years) still works great but we don't like carrying it up and down stairs. With two long haired cats we vacuum often so having another unit handy is helpful. I would definitely recommend the Shark to anyone.

This thing sucks!

Though I really wanted the robot vacuum (since I'm the only one in the house that cleans...), this was a much better price. Definitely enjoy the portability since we have two sets of stairs in our house, and the attachments are great.
