I am very pleased with this purchase! It has exceeded my expectations. It has amazing suction and works great on hardwood as well as carpet. I was amazed how much dust and hair it pulled up from the carpet. The canister is easy to empty and clean. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who wants a great vacuum at a reasonable price.

It’s an excellent vacuum. Picks up everything in its path. Small enough to fit in a small space especially if you don’t have much.

[Employee of bestbuy] The Vacuum has good suction, but it does not work well on high pyle rugs. The brush roller motor gets overloaded easily and shuts off to protect itself on carpet with slightly more than usual fiber length. Very disappointing considering I have a lot of room-size rugs that it keeps shutting off the brush roller on. I may end of returning it and continue to use my Kirby. I only purchased it for the fact it was $100 off for Cyber Monday and it is light weight. I’m glad I only paid $99 for it because the lack of build quality it is no way worth the regular retail price.

I had a Roomba that ran daily for nearly 3 years on our carpeted basement floor where 2 kids and 2 large dogs often frequent. I thought the carpet was clean until the first time I ran this Shark. The amount of filth it sucked up made me gag. This vacuum cleans DEEP!

Good vacuum. Suction is ok compared to the eureka; could be better

This vacuum was easy to put together and works really well. I was surprised at how much dirt it picked up. It is super easy to detach and use the canister. Also, it is very simple to empty. The only cons on this is it can be hard to push through our thick carpeting. Like very hard. I sometimes use both hands. Also, all of the attachments don't hook to the vacuum so I am worried that over time they may become lost.

I bought this for a lake vacation home. I tried it at home first and was shocked at what it was able to pick up! I have a central vacuum system and use it at least once a week. I honestly didn't expect the Shark to pick up much...but was so impressed, I might order a second one for home.

This is my second Shark vacuum and I will never get any other brand. They last, the suction is great, super manuverable, great assortment of accessories. I live in the country with 3 indoor cats, a Great Pyrenees dog and a mini Pig. This vacuum takes care of the dirt, hair and dander easy as pie! Sharks are Awesome!

I mean this is my second purchase of this product and it still does the job. I wish I could say the accessories were still the same, but they weren't and this is the reason for 4 stars. It seems as if quality has gone down.
