    We replaced a Hoover vacuum which was nearly new, but was problematic for several reasons. In any case, the feature we like most about this vacuue is it's ability to separate the floor unit from the vacuum system so the canister can be carried up and down stairs for cleaning. On the downside, I wish it had a retractable cord. Minor nitpick.
