With that system it was impossible to do stairs and other areas. We bought this vacuum as a supplement. We leave the base off entirely and walk around holding it by its handle. It's a fantastic, light, portable vacuum. It fit our situation ideally.

basic vaccum... good deal for the price

I would buy it again if I had to...
