I purchased this vacuum after using a Dyson upright for the last seven years. While the Dyson was good, it definitely had its flaws. My biggest complaint with it was when I would try to clean the bare floor in the kitchen. We have a large dog and the Dyson exhausts out the bottom, so it pushes the fur, dust, etc. away from the vacuum. This Shark vacuum exhausts out the top, so it never stirs the dust and fur before the suction gets it. The Shark is also half the weight of the Dyson, the canister lifts away so that I can easily clean drapes, ceiling fans, walls, etc. The Shark also has so much suction that I can feel it grabbing the carpet. My only complaint is that I should have purchased it sooner than I did.

Great Vacuum and suction power! This is a really light vacuum that has great suction power and it's super easy to use and navigate. I can safely say that I love vacuuming with this even more!

I have house with 90% carpet and this vacuum gets the job done pulling all the hair and debris up. Not to mention how easy it is to clean and take apart for inspecting the hoses. This vacuum really does a good job making are carpet feel clean and refreshing. Very important for our 16 month old baby whos running around and curious about any crumb on floor that I know for sure the shark vacuum picks up. Well worth the piece of mind. I will say if you are bit weaker this vacuum does feel heavy turning.

My last 3 vacuums have been Sharks. This is by far the most powerful. It can easily keep up with the hair from my 95 lb. German Shepherd. It lifts the carpet powerfully and removes all dirt and hair. Wonderful vaccuum and a good deal.

We got this vacuum because we just moved into a rental and the landlords didn’t have it cleaned properly. At first we got this one because the sales person said it was the most powerful for the price that it was at. So we went with it. We used it for about 5 hours straight that night (The landlords really jacked this place up) but it picked up EVERYTHING!! Seriously, we filled and emptied this thing up maybe 10 times. Either way, it still continues to work great a month and a half later. All of the attachments are convenient and easy to use. We really liked the feature that allows you to detach the roller from the actual tank so you can take it up stairs and small areas easier where you may just be using the hose. Definitely recommend and will probably buy another one just to keep upstairs.

Great vacuum- love that it can disconnect to reach hard to reach places. Lighter to work with. Wish it came with a brush attachment though.

This is our second Shark vacuum, and we love this brand. It's lightweight, easy to use, but it has a lot of suck power. It feels like it's self-propelled, because the brushes and motor work so well!

amazing! i have a cat and i swear to you her fur is nonexistent with this vacuum. it picks every little thing up, and it’s such an amazing investment.

This is the best vacuum I have ever had!!! My old vacuum was a major brand that started with "O" - and it didn't pick anything up. This vacuum gets every little piece of lint, dirt, dust, everything, it works wonders. Even those little tiny pieces of lint stuck on carpeting, it gets right up. The vacuum can be used on stairs, by holding the main section without the "floor" section. The "floor" section has a brush on a separate switch, so you can vacuum with or without a brush action depending on the job. The hose can also be used, and it comes with 2 hose attachments. It's a little tricky to put together the first time, because of the way everything attaches and detaches to the main unit, but once you get the hang of it you'll be alright. It is bagless and it's very easy to empty the canister and re-attach it. I truly love this vacuum.

This is by far the best vacuum we have bought. We have five cats and it's hard to keep up with the cleaning. We burn through vacuums . This is quite and works extremely well. We have already put it through the paces and it works well. Easy to empty and cleans great.

This vacuum cleaner is the best I have ever owned. Its got a powerful suction that sucked up so much dirt/dust that my old vacuum never got. I was amazed how much filled the bagless bin after just a short run in my living room. And its pretty quiet for how well it works. Really impressed & love it!!

I wanted something that was lightweight and easy to maneuver (specifically for the stairs). It works very well on carpet - and I have pets so it was important it could get the fur out of the carpet, and it does. The only downside is the cord is too short and it does not work as well on hard surfaces (tile / hardwood ).

Very easy to use , moves very easy across the carpet. Seems to have great suction. Attachments are wonderful and are very useful.

Love this product. The suction quality is amazing and it is very easy to use and assemble. Comes with all the attachments you need and the lift away is great for steps so you don't have to carry the whole vacuum. Great value for the price. I recommend this to anyone!

I love this vacuum. I have had no issues using it for my entire home for a few years now, and that is every other day with a house full of animals. I just bought the same model for my girlfriend, and I realize my 3ish year old one runs just as strong now as it was new. It is also a very convenient? vacuum, if that is the right word. Easy to detach the head and do the stairs, clean out the tank, clean the filter, ect. Sucks so much dirt out of the rug, its amazing. When i first bought it and replaced my old cheap one, I couldn't believe the difference. I vacuumed like 3 times, got BAGS of dirt and whatnot, and my carpet felt so much cleaner and fresher.

I just love my new Vacuum. It is so lightweight & easy to maneuver. Easy to empty & great attachments. The suctioning power is Great. Never knew how much dust & pollen was in my carpet. My old Dirt Devil can’t compare.

I bought this for my daughter who loves it. I'm happy with my shark so I bought one for her too. Lightweight with multiple attachments and multi use possibilities. Less expensive than Dyson and in my opinion, works just as well.
