My father's lost suction after a month of use, but luckily we had the Best Buy protection plan. Apparently they don't fix vacuums, they replace them. Sonny dad got a brand new vacuum and has had it for 2 years now with now issues.

Sweeper by Shark

Works great on floors or regular depth carpet, but haven't figured out why it is extremely hard to push on a thicker carpet runner. Still need to try on furniture, drapes, etc. Love the ability to swivel the direction so easily to get in small areas and under furniture.
