I have to lower the suction power when I use it on my hallway runners or the cleaner would suck them up. Amazing the power it has. With just myself and my husband at home with no pets I was amazed at the dirt the vacuum pulled from our rugs that we recently had professionally cleaned.

Great suction, but too much for thick dense carpet

There is a rotating collar to ease the suction for going over throw rugs, but it's not enough reduction for my living room carpet. This vacuum would be great for low, flat carpets and hard floors.

This vacuum is amazing! We have a dog and two cats and it picks up all of the pet fur with no problem. I was amazed the first time I used it to see how much more it picked up than my old vacuum.

This is a great vacuum, very good suction!

The tank was 1/2 full on a very clean appearing carpet that had just been steam cleaned, This is a great value for the money.
