It does the job perfectly. There are two modes (brush, no brush) which makes it easier to use on hardwood and carpet. No bag is required which is another good thing.

We needed a good vacuum for our house because we have 3 cats and a dog and when we brought this one home it worked just as it said it wuld picks up great gets under everything and all the dust and hair is gone great vacuum

It's almost been a month, and now when I vacuum, it doesn't pick up as much..................but that's because it cleans so well, there isn't anything left behind, so my rugs are seriously cleaner, all the time!!

I purchased this vacuum as I was on the market for a new one. I had a Shark vacuum previously so I knew what I was getting. This vacuum was an upgrade over my previous model and has worked fantastically. I have 2 toddlers and this vacuum handles pretty much all the mess they can make.

Needed a vaccuum and didn’t want to spend too much. Really good vacuum that picks up a lot. My only downside is that it is so retry hard to vacuum an area rug on carpet or any area rug on any floor. Good for bare floor and carpet.

Works OK for the price. I was hoping it would not let any debris blow out but like every other vacuum cleaner it still does although maybe not as much. One thing that drives me nuts is the cord.I wish there was better cord management instead of having to hold it all the time.

I have always owned shark vacuums. You can never go wrong with a shark. This one is a bit smaller than the ones I normally buy. But it still gets the job done and with ease.

My mom had this super 90’s oreck vacuum. It was still working but it was ancient, we got her this for Christmas and she loves it. The hoses and capability to take vacuum on the go makes her clean for no reason

We didn't know about this vacuum because of the size but it works much better than the larger one we were replacing. My wife LOVES it. The only knock is that it is light which makes it easy to pull over when using the wand.

Seems good.. but it really does suck hard on carpet of any height. It does clean well, but is somewhat difficult to use due to how hard it pulls on carpet.

It is always fun to say "it sucks" and have mean a good thing! This is a very powerful vacuum, with many good components. I have a dog, 5 daughters with long hair, and my wife with long hair. But this vacuum does the trick!

Had to make a quick purchase and this was great! I think it was the previous model, but huge improvement over the Shark we had for the last 10 years!

I have been using my moms vacuum for the past 20 years until a few months ago. Finally I'd decided to get a new one. My choice could not have been better, I enjoy using the Shark Navigator just as much as driving. Excellent product.

We are very happy with this purchase. We have a Great Pyrenees that sheds a fair amount, but this has been able to keep the carpet in our bedrooms hair free. I would highly recommend to other pet owners.

Torn between this product and the dyson. Tired of vacuum losing power after about 18 months. Too early to tell if this is long term solution, but out of the box functionality already better than the Hoover product replaced.
