Hard to dump out it you have animals as the fur gets stuck so have to pull out with hand. Even with the suction on low it was hard to push on carpet. Not at all what I was expecting.

Too heavy. I didn’t like the swivel motion. It had great power. I didn’t mind the price, but overall think it could be a better vacuum.

The cord is too short and the hose does not reach very high or far. Doesn't have a wand to reach higher. The placement of the bagless container makes it hard to control.

Had to return the vacuum the next day since it was unable to work on my slightly thicker carpets and the height of the brush is not adjustable. It seems like it would be a great vacuum for hard floors and thinner carpets.

I have mixed feelings on this vacuum. The hand held beater bar unit works great for furniture and stairs. Overall vacuum works great on hardwood floors however doesn't work well on carpet or rugs. Also gives shocks when vacuuming rugs

This was purchased to have a lighter weight vacuum. I didn’t use it on carpet until after return date apparently over. I can barely push it. Suction is so great that it wont go across the floor. Ive adjusted as suggested and still can’t.

This thing is the absolute best at picking up dog hair. It gets it all. And it’s super easy to use. Get this.

What a great choice! I have used many of vaccumms over the years and this is the best for the money by far!

I have an older Shark vacuum from a few years ago and this one was no comparison. It made a funny noise when you pulled it back on the carpet and the suction didn't work properly. I had it about 2 weeks and returned it. Didn't like the canister flimsy snaps that had to come off each time you emptied the canister. Too easy to break. I think the beater bar also was flimsy and didn't pick up enough dog hair even on the hard wood floors that Shark raves that their vacuums work well on hard wood. Returned.

The chamtber that holds the dust/dirt etc is smaller than my last shark. This makes vacuming difficult because i have to stop & empty several times.

A good vacuum, but if you need to use the hose then do not buy this. The whole machine falls over everytime you use the hose. Find a lift away model instead.

Its an okay vacuum. It doesn't have all that much suction and the waste bin is a little tricky. All together a little pricey for the product.

We read the reviews, heard testimonies from family and friends and even after the first one quit working in 41 days, we bought a second one. It's decent. I still put in more effort than the vacuum does. I'm disappointed.

the shark is a okay vacuum, doesn't do real good on indoor/outdoor carpet. It seems to scatter gravel rather than pick it up.

Really love the Shark vacuums. Dependable, sleek and light weight. Love the bagless system.

Not sure if it’s defective or not. Seems it doesn’t want to change the suction from hard floors to pile carpet and I’m still trying to figure out why. Have had a lot going on with our move so I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time on it.

Shark is the best vaccum out there cant compare to any other especially for the price...

I like the lift away feature for the stairs, but I'm disappointed in the stair tool. It's the same as all of the others that I have had and none of them have worked.

This vacuum is awesome for the price, and it's fallen in price since. If you need a good sub $200 vacuum give this one a shot.

This vac had great reviews so went with it. I really like the amount it's able to swivel and it totally has a good reach without the extra arm. Not a huge fan of the lift away as it's cumbersome.
