I could not be more pleased with this vacuum. We have a 2 bedroom apartment and have only lived here a few months, so I didn’t think there would be much dust when I vacuumed, but the Shark really gets everything from deep down in your carpet! The canister was nearly full after I vacuumed the apartment. It’s relatively light and easy to maneuver. The head swivels to reach every crevice, and you can adjust the suction by twisting the gage at the top- which is a nice additional feature. The assembly was very easy- every part is labeled which makes it fool proof. Took me less than 5 minutes to assemble it. I have yet to try this vacuum as a detachment, but so far I am VERY impressed. The suction on this vacuum is incredible! PS: there are SO many Shark options to choose from; we landed on this model because of the extra attachments- there is a long flat attachment that you can even get under your fridge with. There is an attachment for upholstery/pet hair, etc. I noticed it is larger lengthwise than the attachments on the other models, which will cover more area to clean with. And also that the canister detaches, so it’s easy to vacuum small spaces like stairs or your couch. The representative at Best Buy said this model has been the number one seller among all of the Shark models. And now I can see why. It’s fantastic. Get one! It’s worth every penny!

The vacuum worked great, however it was too powerful for my carpet. It also was hard to maneuver. I had it return it.

Great vacuum-my second one to purchase, however had t less than a year and he switch to power on will not work for the brushes...unless hold it down aggressively.

I purchased this thinking that it was going to be lightweight, I was completely wrong. It is really bulky and not easy to move around. I will be returning to the store.

Despite high reviews for this vacuum, it did not last very long. When used for the first time on a large carpet floor, it struggled with suction. It was soon returned.

It's tough to push on the carpet. The roller squeals loudly. This vacuum doesn't have much suction at all.

This vacuum does everything as advertised. It's the first time I've bought something other than a Hoover and I have no regrets.

My friend reocommended me this vacuum cleaner. I have been using it for 5 months. After 3 months it stopped working for hours and then the suction power was very weak. Fortunately I have a Geek squad guarantee I returned it today. I have bought a Dyson instead I hope this time it will last for years.

Its just a year and this product is dead already Heats up and shuts down itself.

Hard to push, hard to maneuver. Did not like. Made vacuuming more of a chore. Gave away after I used it twice. Would have taken back, but had already destroyed box.

Its a bit smaller that I thought from the pictures.

I should have gotten a vacuum with a retractable cord. This is not good for stairs.

Item does not come with the 5 listed attachments as per the description. Only comes with two, 1 short crevice and the curtain attachment. Returned to the store since we were looking for the spin brush attachment specifically for the stairs. Please update the item description online for it is not correct as per your sales department.

i like for the most part sometime it does not have suction not sure why i have to play with it for a white to get it to work

It has almost been 2 months. The vacuum gets used about once a week, and the motor just does. Don’t recommend!

I purchased this vacuum a little over a month ago and it’s making little noises as if it’ll present problem in the near future.

Great vacuum! I love how it has the option not to have the rotating brush. We have rugs that require not using the rotating brush so this was really nice. It picks up things so much better compared to our old vacuum. A little tricky to figure out the wand, but not too bad. Overall a nice vacuum for a good price point. And we have a lab/golden that sheds so much, it picks up that hair well. The only thing is that it would be nice if it were a little wider, but being narrow is nice to get into small spaces.
