I loved it's smaller size and light weight. Kind of hated how it constantly fell over and now it decided to no longer work at all. Wishing it had lasted a little longer.

If you want a workout, get this vacuum. The hose is the length that it shows in the ads picture. If you are not carrying the vacuum, then you can place it in a cart. I am 5.2' and must bend over while vacuuming due to the short hose, plus the vacuum cart hits the back of your legs (due to the short hose) if you are not carrying the canister. The only thing that I did like about this product is that it is bagless. If you want back pains from bending over, bruised legs, or a workout, this would be the product for you.

Right from the get go, this is hands down is the worst vacuum I have ever used. It does a terrible job of sucking things from rugs and afterwards it feels like I never vacuumed. It leaves things on bare floors and is bad at getting things in the corner. I've used it maybe 5 times and it's gotten jammed up in the brushes. I have never had a vacuum perform so poorly. I would much rather use my old vacuum of 6 years than use thing. DO NOT BUY.

This is the worst vacuum I have ever used. The power head is way to narrow, in order to use the hose u must hold vacuum in other hand due to much to short hose not to mention if u want to reach narrow places we'll forget it, the two attachments that it does come with won't allow it cause they are connected to the handle(great idea). This vacuum also has no light. I think I would love this vacuum if it were completely different. Shark has failed at this one. Maybe I can use some of the parts for my bissell (if it ever brakes).

Couldn't push or pull it. Even my son had much difficulty. I used it on a flat pile carpeting, not any kind of a shag. It was as though it needed to be lifted up, but there was no mechanism for raising or lowering it.

I have several problems with this vacuum and the manufacturer. The Owner's Guide and markings on vacuum cleaner iindicate that it could be used on high nap rugs. I adjusted the vacuum as recommended in the Guide and could barely move the vacuum on the rug - suction was way too strong. No combination of vacuum cleaner adjustments solved this problem. I called the manufacturer to see what they could recommend and was told "it's a wonderful product" over and over and that "it's too bad" it doesn't work on my rug - that was the help I got. I could not take the vacuum back because I had it too long before using it (I had to wait to have new rug installed). I had to modify the vacuum to work on my rugs (drilled three ⅜" holes in the suction line to reduce the suction enough to move the vacuum easily). The cord is constantly under or around your feet (very poor cord location). The discharge air blows in your face if you lean forward.

This vacuum worked great for 5 months. I even recommended it to my friends. Now, the second speed (brush roller) will not engage. It works fine on my hardwoods and rugs, but it will not move on my new carpet. I went through all the trouble shooting steps and then called the manufacturer. They said that they would send me new filters.The filters are fine. That's not the problem. I can't wait for months to vacuum as they go out of their way not to honor the warranty. (It comes with a 5 year warranty.) I'm going tomorrow to buy a Hoover Windtunnel because I need something to vacuum my bedrooms with now, and it won't be from Best Buy.

This vacuum works great on bare floors but worthless on carpet. There is no height adjustment for carpet so you are always on the lowest setting. the brush stops working on carpet, plus you have to turn down the suction. You really need max suction on carpet. Hair wraps around the brush; I've had to cut hair off twice in the 2 weeks I've had it.

I read amazing reviews which lead to my purchase. Unfortunately, after purchase I found the canister capacity is extremely small. With having animals, I would be emptying the canister every five seconds! Great vacuum for someone in an apartment, not normal size house.

The vacuum was easy to assemble and light weight, but it was hard to push on the carpet, especially thick carpet. I am returning it, I was thoroughly disappointed.

Wow.. a product which cost me $170.00 and that it worked within 60 days. I total vacuumed my house for 7 times only in 60 days. And I kept it so clean. Still it stopped. I called Shark as the box says 5 years warranty. They listened and decided to send me a parts that I HAVE TO INSTALL and also that I have to PAY $19.99 for the parts to come to my address. This is very unfortunate & unexpected.

I am so frustrated every time I use this vacuum. Using it without the beater rotating on my wood floors it doesn't pick anything up. ..for example a short pine needle from a Christmas tree is too much for it to suck up. Using the "rug" setting with the beater rotating only works on carpets with no pile. It gets stuck on any other rug and stops spinning. It is also extremely top heavy. When you use the hose with one of the attachments you have to hold the base so it doesn't fall over and damage your furniture. When I tried it in the store, I thought it was great because the carpets there have no pile to them so it rolls smoothly over them.

If you have arthritis or weak wrists this would be unusable. If you just appreciate being able to vacuum easily and in a straight line and not have the entire upright part flop over with each stroke and especially if you happen to run over the edge of a carpet, not hvae it veer off like a pool ball, then you will not liek this and will find it hard to believe that it graduated form their product testing focus groups. Try it before buying. Other brands swivel but they don't flop over adn they also can go in a straight line. Try it, then don't buy it. I called the company to see if perhaps something could be tightened or if it was not functioning properly but, nope, that's the way it is. Try it first. I'm simply flabbergasted.

I’ve only used it a couple of times since I got it, but so far it’s been great.

Not happy with this product. I bought it today from Best Buy and was very happy to use it and only to find out it gives out shocks from the handle once i turned it on. I called Shark customer service & was told it was NORMAL and it would not happen again. I turned on for the third time and it shocked me again and is not just statics. No thanks! I'm going to return it.

The vacuum doesnt work that well. I think something is broken but I am outside of return window

Don't waste your money. A decent eureka or hoover will do just as well. This machine does not do a good job on pet hair. There is no edge brush so you are constantly bending over and racking your hand along the wall to get everything up. The pet hair clogs in the brush and you have to pick it out by hand. I wish I never would have bought this machine. Only good thing is the upholstery brush.

DON'T BUY! I bought after seeing the overwhelming positive reviews. I now regert it. I should have gone for something else. It started by smelling like burning but i thought this couldn't be as it was brand new. The smell didn't go away and after just over a month it no longer works! It has been used once a week so how can it already be broken! Well it is and i just hope that get help with the warranty they offer.
