Great to keep things tidy. We have had several shark vacuums, both regular and robot. Never been disappointed.

I have a Shark Robot Vaccum. I gifted this purchase as a Christmas gift for my 70+ year old parents, and they love it! They love having it schedule to clean and were amazed at how well it does pick up things.

Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. The vacuum cleans well and is a fairly smart device, I still have to use the upright occasionally, because the Shark doesn't lift the carpet pile, at least it didn't appear so. It has to recharge to finish the whole house (2300sqft) due to tight spaces and large furniture. The app is okay. It would be great if the app could show the progress and location of the robot during cleaning so I don't have to go find it.

The vacuum does well on tile and my area carpet. It does get stuck easily with my poor wire management near my entertainment center, but other than that it’s very easy to use and keeps my cats kitty litter messes at bay.

Great buy for everyday cleanup of pet hair. No untangling hair from brush roller. Empty every two vacuuming.(twice a day) No low cost compared to other expensive products.

It does a great job cleaning the dog hair off the wood floors. It doesn't do so well on the rugs. It is also the loudest robot vac that I have had. It did run itself off the top step and tumbled right to the bottom, but kept on working so I guess that it is durable. Our other vacuums have been able to avoid falling down the stairs.

It cleans very well, the only problem is the app. If you turn off the device to clean it, the app won’t reconnect to it. But you can still run and use whenever and it does a good job

Great for short-haired pet owners. I am amazed at how much dirt and pet hair this Shark Navigator Robot sweeps up. Easy to set up. I am going to purchase a second one for my second-level bedroom.
Finally, a Robot Vacuum That Maps Like It Means It

After spending way too many years watching budget robot vacuums bounce off furniture like confused pinballs, I was ready to try something with actual navigation. The Shark Navigator caught my attention with its LiDAR mapping at a price that wouldn't require explaining to anyone. Here's what I learned after putting it through its paces for a few weeks.
Setting up the Navigator was refreshingly straightforward. No complex calibration runs or finicky Wi-Fi pairing, just drop it on the charger, download the SharkClean app, and let it do an initial mapping run. That first exploration took about 45 minutes for my 1,200 square foot main floor, and I was impressed watching it methodically scan each room with that little spinning LiDAR sensor on top. The build quality feels solid without being overbuilt. It's not trying to look like a spaceship from 2050, just a practical cleaning tool that won't embarrass you when guests see it parked in the corner.
What sets the Navigator apart from the random pattern cleaners I've used before is that SmartPath Navigation. In plain English, this means it cleans in neat rows like you'd mow a lawn, rather than randomly bumping around hoping to eventually cover everything. The spot LiDAR creates an actual map of your home that you can see in the app, complete with room divisions you can customize. I found myself appreciating the object detection more than expected, it navigates around dog toys and charging cables instead of dragging them across the house. The self-cleaning brush roll is the real MVP here though. If you've ever spent 20 minutes cutting hair out of a vacuum roller, you'll understand why this matters.
In daily use, the Navigator handles my mix of hardwood and medium-pile carpet surprisingly well. That "50% more suction" claim versus competitors? I can't verify the exact percentage, but it definitely pulls more dirt out of my rugs than my old bounce-around bot ever did. The edge cleaning could be better, it sometimes leaves a thin line of dust along baseboards that needs a quick pass with a stick vacuum. Battery life hits about 90 minutes on mixed surfaces, and the recharge-and-resume feature actually works as advertised. When it runs low, it returns to base, charges up, then picks up exactly where it left off.
Here's where this model shows its position in Shark's lineup: there's no auto-empty base included. You're getting just the robot and a standard charging dock, which means emptying the dustbin every couple of runs if you have pets. The bin capacity is pretty small at 0.135 gallons, so if you're coming from an upright vacuum, prepare for more frequent emptying. Still, at this price point, you're getting genuinely useful navigation instead of the random wandering of cheaper models.
Bottom line: if you want a robot vacuum that actually knows where it's going without spending flagship money, the Navigator hits a sweet spot. It won't revolutionize your life, but it will maintain your floors between deep cleanings without constantly getting stuck or missing entire rooms. The lack of an auto-empty base might be a dealbreaker for some, but if you don't mind a quick dustbin empty every few days, you're getting legitimate LiDAR navigation and solid cleaning performance for the price of what used to buy you a bump-and-turn dummy. For anyone stepping up from a basic robot vacuum or entering the category for the first time, this is a logical starting point that won't leave you wondering if you should have spent more.

It was so awesome. Picked up so much even though I sweeped the day I got it and I only had to return it because I had to buy the 2-in-1 version but don’t get the shark 2-in-1 because it has so many problems.

Just got this a few weeks ago but love it. I already feel like I couldn’t live without it. So convenient to be able to use from your phone. I just bought my parents one for Christmas too!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re satisfied with the suction, but we’re sorry the filtering system didn’t meet your expectations. We will absolutely share your feedback with the relevant teams for consideration on future products.
Kind regards, Shark Clean
