A great product for hard wood floors. Set it and let it go. Dump your vacuum, dirty water, and refill once a week.

Initial Thought: I have had 2 robot vacuum cleaners in the past, and I am not a fan. They were clunky, couldn’t get out of a wet paper bag, and didn’t really clean well. When I saw the Shark - PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro, it looked to be in a completely different class. So, I reluctantly decided to try it out. The packing was very good. The box had been damaged, but no damage to the vacuum system. It was quite heavy at 25 lbs., a surprise compared to the other ones. Everything about it seemed professional, well built, and well thought out. And this unit was obviously made to work for an extended time before requiring any cleaning or adding more water. After downloading, you create your account directly through the app. You connect it to your local Wi-Fi network, and the app guides you through the entire process. There are a lot of steps getting it fully configured, but this app does such an amazing job of walking you through it, that you can’t really make any mistakes. The final process of the initial setup is connecting your robot to your app. Once it is set up, the Robot leaves home and charts out your floorplan. This is called the explore run. Once it’s done, it docks itself and you are ready to set your cleaning schedules. Performance: The performance of the Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robot vacuum is outstanding. I have 5 schedules throughout the week, and it launches right on time, performs the task, and goes back to the base. I have 2 transitions downstairs, and the robot feet come down to step it over the transition. When scooting close to walls or furniture, the side brush goes into action. It is amazing to watch it do its thing. The beginning runs were a bit rough. It would leave the dock on time every day. It would clean the area selected in the schedule, but it would park itself about 2 feet away from the dock and error out. So, I watched it one day, and I instantly found the problem. My floorplan changed enough to throw off the robot. For instance, at my desk, when it did the explore run, my chair was against the wall. However, that is unusual, because I normally keep it pushed under the desk. The robot got stuck under the desk because of the change. Also, I saw that it was going behind some recliners. I had cables placed there that weren’t there during the explore run, so it got turned around. So, what I did was to go to the map and create no-go zones, and those problems disappeared. Conclusion: The Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robot vacuum is the best automated robot vacuum and mop device I have had the pleasure of using. There is no comparison to the others I have owned. When we get home, we can tell the carpet has been vacuumed and the kitchen floor has been mopped. The floors are clean, and there are no leftover or residual anything. It’s as if I did it manually myself. The app is easy to use, both in scheduling and editing the floorplan. The unit is comparatively quieter than the others I have used, but it does make a little bit of noise when it returns to its dock. But not near enough or long enough to matter. We like this robot so much that we are going to buy a second one for the upstairs. If you need or want an excellent automated robot vacuum and mop, I highly recommend the Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro. Especially if you have been dissatisfied with other manufacturers like we have. The Shark is in a class of its own.

Unit is working well and as advertised. The only issue I had was there was no cleaning solution in the box. Called Shark and they sent a replacement in a couple days.

We've had other robot vacuums before, but this was is definitely a winner for us. The mop feature is great for our evening routines, and it's nice to wake up and see floors clean. The vacuum does a great job detecting floors and obstructions/room designs, etc.

I wish I could give no stars, but here we are. We purchased a shark vacuum/mop and started experiencing a small amount of issues with it a few months in. However, I purchased a protection plan for repair, replacement, or refund so I felt comfortable we would be good. Fast forward to this past Sunday. While I was disposed with family issues in the ICU, my adult daughter took the Shark in for repair. She told them what it was doing and they informed her that they no longer carried the unit and they don’t do repairs so they decided to give her a refund. Well, the problem is that I went by today and found the exact model and unit on their shelves. So, as a member and a long time, loyal customer, I went to the customer service counter to resolve the issue. I was promptly told it was my problem and they reserved the right to repair, replace, or refund at discretion. Not what I was told when I bought the unit or protection plan. Asked to speak to the store manager and was told they don’t have one and to call the 800 number if I had a complaint. With such heavy competition in the industry and to the door delivery from places like Amazon, it’s no surprise that box stores are failing. They defrauded me when purchasing the unit originally with promises they had no intention to keep and once again when I took one product in after MANY YEARS of purchasing several products from this company. Looks like I’ll choose someone else next time I need an electrical device.

At first when I seen these advertised I was a bit spectical about it and thought thiers no way these are that good! I have to admit I was wrong these things are great for large rooms and small rooms.

Solid option. Vacuums both carpet and hardwood well. Mopping is ehh. I also don’t like how you have to remap if you want to remove the carpet from your mapping. I recently got a smaller rug and noticed it doesn’t adjust. Also, I would’ve gave it more stars if Best Buy would’ve priced match Shark directly. They stated “recent changes to price match policy”.

Good product customer service sucks had a problem with vacuum took days for a return call

Great brand and looks very aesthetically pleasing. Did not vaccum / mop the way I intended but I was to believe I have quite a bit of pet hair / light floors. This may be a factor… I would say this is a great product for someone who has a house hold that doesn’t get that messy and perhaps a household of 2 people . Not an house hold that has pets or children.

I had high hopes for the Shark PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro vacuum and mop, but my experience was disappointing. The product lasted only 4 hours total before the active suspension on one tire stopped working, making it unusable. It also spent 3 of those hours charging and only cleaned and mopped for about 20 minutes before breaking down. Their app is also so basic yet so inefficient. For a flagship product, I expected much better performance. I returned it the same day. I’ve since opted for a different vacuum and mop brand that performs far better and is more reliable. Shark needs to address these quality issues to compete.

It worked great the first day and now it just gets confused in rooms bumps into walls. I don’t know what is wrong with us so I need to treat it in for a new one and try again. If it doesn’t work, I’m just gonna have to return the next one. I called Shar and they were no help.

I wanted to like it but it is a piece of trash! I ordered it 3 times! and the water tank kept cracking and spilling water all over my floor! And 1 of them just totally ripped itself from the inside out! Like from the movie alien ! It scared me to death! So instead of making my life easier it has been nothing but a headache, being on the phone with the shark company and getting replacement parts! And a whole new one once from them! And once again the tank cracked! Also the robot isnt the greatest either! It does not edge like it says its supposed too either!

Our floors have never felt more clean. We’ve used iRobot for a long time and decided to give this a chance. We won’t be going back. Great quality and works like a charm. Keep it clean.

It was an excellent purchase. With the map you can clean by areas, that is, you do not need to clean all areas at the same time. And self-cleaning is the best. I liked it.
