This is a cheap but nevertheless good alternative to the $300+ Dyson models that not all can afford. Our cleaning lady loves it and does a great job with it. It is very simple to operate and cleanout. We will see how it stands the length of time.

Very easy to maneuver, very light, not heavy at all, and good vacuum for the price. it is worth every penny of it. Disposed of all the rest of my vacuum cleaners. I had 4 of the other brands.

I bought this vacuum for its versatility for our stairs and laminate floors. It was well worth it!

When using on carpet, it almost pulls you along too fast. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, except it is top heavy with all the weight in your hand and your hand gets tired- and I consider myself a strong person. The hardwood floor attachment is easier to control but when you have it flat on the floor, it is more like using a Swiffer, and you have to lift it up ever so slightly to get it to actually suck up some dirt/hair/dust. I like that it flaps open to empty, but then you have to reach your hand inside to pull the majority of the dirt out. It's unavoidable. I still like it, but even though it is a "light weight" vacuum, the majority of the weight is in your hand. When stopping to move furniture etc,, you can't simply stand it on end. You have to set it down on the floor or hold it the whole time.

If Shark could design a spring-loaded cord rewind to replace the winding of the extralong cord, this would earn 5 stars. Works great, light weight and convertible to handheld are all super.

This vacuum is awesome! It picks up things I didn't even know my old one was missing. It works great on hardwood, linoleum, carpet, ceilings, everywhere. I cannot recommend this enough. I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner.

I purchased this vacuuming as a gift for my mom but ended up returning it because it was heavy and the cord would always get in the way. I love shark so when I saw that they had another vacumn like this AND it was cordless, I returned this one and exchanged it for the other one. The price difference is a lot but I promise these are quality vacuums and are worth investing in.
