    Purchased this for the great reviews. We needed a vacuum for hardwood floors to pick up dirt, dust and hair. While this does the job I wasn't wowed by it..having a cord plus being too heavy wasn't helpful when I needed to switch outlets. I instead bought the Dyson v6 when it went on sale and love it. While they have similar designs the fact that the Dyson is cordless and less top heavy makes the shark seem less appealing.

    Excellent vacuum and light to hold. Reaching for higher areas makes the stick vacuum a great buy, which was on sale.

    didn't want to spend the big bucks for Dyson, so this does a good job. hand held is kind of awkward, would have liked more attachments

    It's bulky and the brush is heavy so if you need to lift it (to jump over the cord or smth) it will drive you nuts. And the problem with hose that people mention will definitely occurre because of how it moves so buying extra protection from best buy is a must. I decided to return.
