Overall, great vacuum cleaner. Unbelievable how much dust and dirt it picks up. Easy to use. Cons: a bit noisy and a bit heavy when using attachment to vacuum drapes, etc Would definitely recommend. Good value.

I think for most people, this vacuum will be great, especially at its current cost. It's relatively light and does a nice job of cleaning as the suction is as strong as some of my larger vacuums. Beware though if you have high-pile rugs or carpet as there is a mechanism that automatically stops the powered attachment as it thinks it's getting stuck on the rug/carpet. This is rather annoying and per Shark customer service, there's no way to disable this feature. I like that there is a corded option - when I vacuum the house, I generally need more than the 20 minutes that a Dyson would allow for. My problem with this purchase though is Best Buy as a retailer. Buyers beware that Best Buy's return policy is 15 days, which is incredibly short as compared to all other retailers. I had purchased this vacuum and only used it twice before realizing I really didn't appreciate the auto shut off function as noted above. I wanted to upgrade to a much more expensive vacuum, but Best Buy wouldn't take my return because I was outside of the 15 day window (I was within a 30 day window though). Moving forward, if given the option, I will buy any electronic/household item from another retailer (Target, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, even Amazon) to avoid this incredibly short return window.

My Dd sweeps 3 times mid week and needed something a little more light weight than the weekend use Kirby. It works fine for the heavy pile carpet and is easier for her to push. She also loves better than the old swiffer for hard woods as it sucks up the dirt well. Have to find out where to buy the extra pads needed for the hard wood floor attachment.

Nice long cord, powered head (not air driven, like the Dyson) super light weight. I like the corded feature over the cordless as I kept running the battery out in the Dyson before I was finished...

Fantastic vacuum, the intelligent suction is a very neat feature as well. My least favorite part is the battery life. Unless you’re speed vacuuming, i can usually only finish about 2/3 of the house before i have to recharge.

We love because it is so light and the swivel action is unbelievealbe. The price is very reasonable. It vacums the dirt etc. very well. We gave another to my daughter and she loves it too.

I bought this vacuum about a year+ ago for my mostly carpet apartment and loved it! It has so much power and its so easy to use. Doesn't take up much storage room. I recently bought my parents one, they were overdue for a new vacuum cleaner and knew this one would be perfect for their 2 story 5 bedroom home. Its so easy for them to carry up and down. It has lots of power. It was a great buy and so far has continued to work at its top performance without any issues.

Its very lightweight, cleans great. However it didint last very long tho. But fortunately i had Greek squad protection and got it replaced.

good amount of power for a stick vacuum. great for a smaller apartment since its a smaller form factor. easy to set up and use.

Works great, good suction, lightweight…wish it had a bigger waste cup, but it is what it is. Already have another cordless vacuum (Samsung), bought this highly recommended corded one just to make sure I always had max available power in a stick vacuum.

We wanted to replace another stick vacuum with something that works better. I've been quite happy with the Shark. The brush head is a nice and useful option for this style of vacuum. The bare floor head with microfiber pad works well on our wood floor. Having the moving parts up high does make it a bit heavier in your hand, but it's not excessive. Having a cord means lots of power and that it won't run out midway through vacuuming - at the loss of some convenience (and more weight for a battery). But the shark has a longer cord than any of our full-size vacuums letting us go much farther without having to unplug-replug. Finally, bagless vacuums can be messy. This Shark empties quickly right over the trash. It works well and limits the mess, and it's easy enough for you to just go ahead and empty it after every use.

Read the reviews before I purchased. I have bamboo floors and rugs, along with carpeted stairs, and carpet in my bedrooms. I wanted something that was light weight to be able to vacuum stairs, and could go from hard floors to carpet/rugs easily. I love this vacuum. I have been using it for a few weeks and love it. It works great and is easy to use. There are a lot of attachment that connect strong enough that they don't easily fall apart (my last vacuum wouldn't stay connected so great with attachments). The only negatives with this vacuum is that the canister is pretty small so I do have to empty it everytime I use it. This thing also has to be wall mounted or completely disconnected to not take up a lot of room. (This is why it's 4 and not 5 stars). I would definitely purchase this again.

Powerful little vacuum, light weight, and good price. Lots of useful attachments and a great mounting hook. Only con is that the vacuum likes to pull you forward, but once you get to use it, you can use that to your advantage when turning

I was pleasantly surprised how the ease of use of this beauty of a machine. I have back issues and really have a hard time cleanin up high, plus bending low to get baseboards. This machine allows me to do both with very little effort and no strain on my back. I LOVE it and am so glad I bought the Shark...I've got a couple of other Shark products and have become a huge Shark fan!

This is honestly the best vacuum I’ve used. It’s light and powerful. Plus it’s so easy to empty out.

Love this vacuum!! Very lightweight, pushes easily, even my husband was amazed at how much it picked up the first time - I couldn't get it away from him!! The attachments are a big bonus!

With the recent installation of wood floors throughout the house I was cautious on what vacuum to purchase for fear of scratches and marrs. After alot of research and reading many reviews I chose this model. I am very pleased with the suction of this model as it has picked up things that were even invisible to my eyes. I love that it swivels in all directions and that it also lays flat for under the beds. The longer wand enable me to get those high places while the using the unit as a hand held I can use it on stairs, vacuuming out those pesky cupboard crumbs that appear out of nowhere. So, I gifted my dustbuster as the Shark replaced that. I would definately recommend this to anybody with hardwoods or laminate flooring.

Been a long-time owner/user of canister and uprights. Hated them all. Heavy, cumbersome, attachments a pain. This Shark is just the opposite. Fairly lightweight, efficient, attachments are reasonably convenient. What I really like about it is the ability to easily see the clear reservoir enabling you to empty it as needed, instead if just guessing. The filters are easily accessible and cleanable. The only improvement I wish they would make to it is to change the electrical cord so that it would plug and unplug at the handle-housing. As it is you have two choices to empty the dust-reservoir: (1) conveniently empty it inside your home into a nearby receptacle and unleash a nasty, fine cloud of dust back into the air; or (2) unplug at the wall, gather and carry the entire handle-housing and cord outside to empty into your garbage can. Keep in mind it can require several emptyings (new word) for one cleaning day.

This vacuum cleaner is great. It's powerful, lightweight and has a long cord. Everyone in my family purchased one after seeing it in action.
