I love my Shark Rocket! Best little vacuum ever. Super powerful but so lightweight and convenient! I prefer the cord because I know the power will be optimal (not worrying about holding a charge) and the cord is a good length so I'm not constantly plugging and unplugging and replugging it in. I can't believe I waited so long to switch to a stick vacuum, but I'm so glad I did.

I did my research before buying a vacuum. I didn't want a big bulky one and I needed one that picked up pet hair seeing that I have two cats. This Shark is perfect! I just bought it and in two hours, I've vacuumed the whole place! It's easy to empty, lightweight, has a lot of attachments (including a pet hair upholstery cleaner), and it stores on the wall or in a small closet out of the way. Definitely will be buying Shark in the future!

This vacuum is light weight, easy to store, and works great for rugs, stairs, and hard flooring. I would highly recommend it.

Easy to use,does a good job. My only suggestion for the manufacturer Is when you vacuum the steps you bend over to vacuum and this for Senior citizens is hard. I wish they would have an extenssion in between The motor and the handle so that it would be easier to vacuum the steps. Other than that I love my vacuum.

I am in love with this vacuum!! It is so easy to maneuver, Very powerful suction and I love that I can use it as a handheld and get up in the top corners of the walls.

I just bought this and LOVE it. Yes, it is a little top heavy but it makes my job so much easier to go from wood floors to low pile area rugs with a touch of the power switch. It does OK on higher pile carpet but for a quick sweep it's great. We have two dogs and the hair "tumbleweeds" add up quick. Going from floor to stairs is great too. Emptying the canister is easy too. Great purchase!

I bought this weeks back and like it up until now. What I like most (1) works equally good on carpets and wood floors (2) Space saver as it can be hung on wall (3) decently powerful suction What I do not like (1) Top heavy although it could be just me feeling like that

Great vacuum! Great suction. Easy to use. It takes a bit to get used to the weight at the hand instead of the floor. Great for hard to reach spaces, cars, carpet, hard floors, and stairs.

I have never written a review on here before, but I had to after buying this vacuum. If you have hard wood floors and pets, BUY THIS. We live in an old bungalow that has all wood floors and a couple rugs. We also have a 100+ lb. Labrador that sheds like a maniac. This vacuum gets ALL the hair off the wood floors and cleans our shag rug with ease. Glad we didn't spend $500 on the Dyson version of this vacuum!

Easy to use. Power good however vaccum does not stand up when power source is connected to rest of vaccum

The Shark Rocket vacuum is lightweight, dependable and has good power to to clean on tile, carpet or wood/vinyl flooring.

Cleaned all floors in house. Draperies, upholstery. Very impressive. Lightweight and great suction. Highly recommend it.

I was a bit skeptical about Shark brand but would never by another Dyson after past experience. Decided this was the best bang for the buck. Bought this over 6 months ago and have been very pleased with it's performance. It's built much better than Dyson. When I purchased, it wasn't supposed to come with extra hard-floor cleaning attachment (with cloth bonnet) but the one in the store did, so I didn't have to pay extra for that. Works very well for my intended use - vacuuming hard floors around house to remove pet hair. Need to wash filters often to keep top suction but that is very simple to do with dish soap and a minute of your time. Great product. The only "negative" I found was with the cord storage pegs. They're completely useless to me. It's easier to coil up the cord and hang that from the handle (it has a little "swoop" that works perfectly for this) instead of winding around the posts. Also this prevents unnecessary strain on the power cord where it attaches to the housing. Other possible negative is the brush "base" is not able to go under *some* low furniture but the non-powered one works fine - not really a problem for me but could see it being for some with carpets. Also works great on a small area of carpet we have downstairs.

Many reviews have placed this at or above the level of the cordless Dyson in the same class, and I can see why. Powerful suction, long cord, and easy to maneuver through the house. If you don't want "it" on your floor, buy this vacuum. It "sucks".

This vacuum is a MUST-HAVE if you have pets! This vacuum picks up dog hair like no other vacuum I've ever used. The hard floor attachment with the microfiber cover works great in my kitchen. My dog has a bad habit of taking his dry food out of the bowl and carrying it over to his rug, so most days there's always pieces of dry dog food scattered around my kitchen. Before I had the Shark, I either had to clean up with a broom and dust pan or get out the attachment on my vacuum to clean up. With the hard floor attachment on the Shark, it not only gets the dust off my wood floors, but even picks up the bits of dry dog food NO PROBLEM! Even though my carpets always looked clean, I can't believe how much dust was still in my carpets until I used the Shark vacuum. It gets "DEEP-DOWN" dust out of the carpet EVERY TIME I vacuum! It's absolutely AWESOME! My carpets look so much cleaner since I've started using this vacuum. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VACUUM! FIVE STARS!

Purchased two vacuums due to the outstanding price at Best Buy. Units arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. Shark Rocket vacuum outperforms other vacuums costing significantly more money. Highly recommended!

Light weight but powerful! I use it on my hardwood floors too

I took a chance and got this to replace a long-loved upright Panasonic which died after 15 years. Did the research and was intrigued by this model (also saw an infomercial which helped). Its super easy to use and has a lot of great options for the price.... love the flexibility and strength of suction from such a small and light device. Changing attachments is a snap (though they cannot be carried on the device itself like an upright). The canister is large enough to hold all dirt from a single session, but has to always be emptied after each session. It got out dust and hair from a carpet which was recently professionally cleaned- that's how powerful it is. Very happy! Only minor gripes, won't stand on its own like an upright- have to set it down if the phone rings or such. Filter needs to be cleaned out with warm water at least after every 4th or 5th usage... at least in my cat-filled house. Great little vacuum- highly recommended!
