works really well on my carpet and like the easy lift away function

This is a must have vacuum if you own a pet that sheds. Love it!

It is heavy and hard to steer. The suction is not as described and sluggish . I am very disappointed, especially since I had a good experience with my first Shark the Navigator Lift Away vacuum. I wish I had not thrown away the box so it could be returned.

I love how it swivels and low clearance so I can get under the furniture.

This works a very nice carpet and hardwood floor vacuum. If you have a larger house or apartment, I would maybe look for something with a bigger head, but for me with a small place it works just fine. Adjusting the suction compared to the usual raising or lowering the rollers depending on carpet height is new to me, but so far I find it works very well. Switching between hardwood and carpets is an easy step, just push the button. The wand tool is great for cleaning ceiling fans and being able to remove the tank from the base while still being able to use the vacuum is great if you're like me and run the wand over furniture before wiping it down with a rag. My only two complaints would be 1) it comes with three attachment tools, but the vacuum only has storage slots for two of them. So the pet wand attachment has to go in a bin somewhere, and I'm sure will eventually end up lost (C'mon, my $80 Bissell has a slot for all of the included attachments). And 2) I would rather it come with a duster brush attachment instead of the upholstery attachment. I suppose if you have a dog that sheds a lot this is probably your preferred attachment, but my cat is pretty low maintenance so I don't have a use for it. Everything else I like about it; maneuverability, ease of assembly, ease of use. Can't go wrong really.
