Vaccuum itself picks up debris great. I received a broken model where the wand doesn't release/click back in appropriately. I contacted Shark, as there is supposed to be a 5 year warranty - but this doesn't cover the wand defect. Because I didn't use the wand feature or realize this in the first 2 months of use , it was too late to return and Shark customer service wouldn't replace the wand part. Frustrating for such a high dollar purchase. But if you get a fully functioning unit - it is probably great!

This vacuum did not work after using it only 2 times. the suction is not good and the vacuum is very heavy - does not self propel as it should. I will not buy another shark vacuum because of this terrible vacuum. Worst, best buy did not exchange the vacuum - they just said it was the manufacturer problem.

I have an older model Shark rotator that I liked so much more. This one doesn't seem to work as well. I think Shark is a great company and love most of their products, this one just didn't do it for me.

The suction is good, able to pick up pet hair from my new carpet, larger debris, and dust on my hardwood floor (even beating out my Dyson on this). I really like the detachable tank, which turns this into a handheld vacuum. All it takes is a press of a button. You can use the tank with the wand or just the handle. It’s really convenient for smaller spaces, your car, and tough to reach spots. The vacuum also has a dual brush system that help pick up finer particles and hair. It’s supposedly self cleaning and will untangle any hair on it’s own, but I haven’t used it long enough for that to happen yet. The vacuum is pretty lightweight and maneuverable. The head turns as easily as the Dyson Ball. The suction power could better, however I do like the adjustable suction dial on the wand. It’s so much easier to use with carpet and rugs. Switching to hardfloor, and the soft roller really seems to pick up all the particles and pet hairs. I had a section of the floor that was covered with a thick layer of dust and pet hair and all was gone after a single pass. The light is surprisingly bright. Cleaning out the vacuum is also very easy. All the parts are easily removed and accessible. The included attachment includes the crevice nozzle, small flat head, and the motorized furniture brush. A standard brush head would have been nice. The furniture brush works alright, as long as you keep lifting it up and give it time to fully spin. Also there’s only two slots for attachment and they only fit the nozzle and barely the flat head. While not a big deal, the cord management bugged me. It’s on the side and with the way the vacuum is shaped, the cord tends to get caught on the angles and attachment.

Superior cleaning performance. Great use, gets so close to the baseboards and has great suction. Worth the money! Love that it came with so many attachments and its bag less. The dual roll is great for both carpet and hard floors.

Heavy and the on switch is in a weird location. Hard to remove canister to empty.

Sweeper was exce!plant but way too heavy to push! Felt like a work out so I did return this. Love all my other Shark sweepers though.

I got this as a gift for my wife i just gave it to her and she won't use it she went back to her old one she said this one doesn't work as well it felt like her arm was going to fall off and it didn't pick up well and that her old shark works better

This vacuum has all the features of my 600 dollar Dyson, and is half the price. It's actually much easier to maneuver than my Dyson by leaps and bounds. Probably my biggest disappointment with the Dyson is how much effort it takes to get it to go around corners. This one is actually effortless, so I'm loving this vacuum. The vacuum was very easy to put together. Took about 5 minutes to get it out of the box and ready to go. No tools required and everything snaps together. Makes it very nice if something requires you to take the vacuum apart. The vacuum has a selector for hardwood floors or carpet. On hardwood mode, the rollers spin slower and on carpet mode they spin faster. The suction is excellent, and this works awesome on my hardwood floors with the front grabber. Lots of vacuums I've tried in the past tend to throw small debris around when on hardwood floors. The front grabber on this one totally eliminates that problem. It has excellent pickup on carpet too, and when you're pulling it back towards you it gets even stronger. Leaves carpets nice and clean! I have 2 cats and 2 parrots, so lots of pet hair and bird seed gets on the floor, and this vacuum made quick work of both and the self-cleaning roller definitely works. No pet hair in the rollers! The extension wand is a great feature and has adjustable suction if you don't want to suck up everything and then some depending on what you're trying to pickup. The suction selector also works when not is wand mode to control the suction level of the floor attachment. The wand attachments snap into the holders on the side for easy access. It comes with 3 attachments for the wand, but only 2 attach to the vacuum at a time. The vacuum has several very bright lights on the base which helps a lot seeing what's on the floor and in less lit areas. My Dyson doesn't have lights and I really missed having them! One nice thing about this vacuum is the easy access areas to remove anything that might get stuck in the airway or rollers. The bottom rollers have 2 release buttons that pops off the cover for easy access, and the side has an easy access opening that covered with a cap for getting things out of the airway. Construction is definitely as good as my Dyson. The vacuum feels solid and is not super heavy for carrying around when using the wand feature. The cord is long and wraps up nicely on the side. Would've been the icing on the cake if it had an auto recoil feature for rolling up the cord. The canister easily detaches and reattaches for dumping out the dirt when you're done vacuuming. Very pleased so far! Would definitely recommend this vacuum. Get it on a sale even better, but totally worth the normal price.

The suction on this is terrible, except for it sucking up the cord on day 2 of my use and tearing away the plastic coating on the cord...then it was wonderful! The cord is placed so that it becomes very difficult to keep it out of the way while vacuuming. You literally have to hold the cord up and out of the way the entire time you vacuum. I would never buy this product again. I literally used it 6 times before calling it quits. My old vacuum picked up better than this at 2yrs old than this did new.

In fairness, my Bissell is over 8 years old. I started by putting this together which actually took 47 seconds. I literally timed myself oh how long it took from start to finish and it was 47 seconds! This is pretty lightweight and not heavy at all . That was one of the things I like the most but I really love how I can get into hard-to-reach places that I couldn't with my Bissell because it was large and bulky. The suction on the Bissell was great but the suction on this is phenomenal and I didn't think you can get no better then the Bissell! The one thing I don't like about this is the color. I hope this is not the only color for this model and I also don't understand why would you want to adjust your suction? I would think you would always wanted to be at its best and most powerful when vacuuming, but other than that, this is a really good vacuum cleaner, and I love the way I can switch from carpet to floor and it vacuums up everything! I haven't gotten a chance to to use any of the accessories yet, but if it's this great with just what I used it for, I can't wait to see what it does when I use the extensions and everything else! This vacuum is really good for the money and it doesn't just suck up dirt that's on the top of the carpet, but it gets deep down and suck everything out! I would highly recommend this vacuum cleaner for someone looking to purchase a new vacuum!

Worked great at first, then after a couple of time using it, that was it as far as it working again. I'm done with Shark Vacuums and Best Buy also. Come on, 15 days of warranty, that's not very much time to make sure every-time I use it, it works.

it does its job but not to the expected performance that was advertised. Overall not a bad vacuum cleaner.
