Vacuum kept falling apart 1st day should have returned it. Used it a few times and now it has no sucking power at all sounds funny. Gave me a 30 day return policy. $300 down the drain

This is a great vacuum that we have fallen in love with. This is our first Shark product. Previous vacs have been Dyson and Hoover. This Shark easily competes with those. We have a high-shed pet, so vacuuming is a daily activity for us. Here are the things we like best about this Shark unit: - Does not get clogged. Our Dyson pet vac is always getting clogged up and losing suction. This Shark has a larger storage bin and has a design that seems to resist clogging. - The smaller vacuum head (on the floor) allows us to get into tighter areas (width and height). - So far, we have not had to struggle with tangles on the brush head. Even when encountering a cord, this vac does not spin up the cord as badly as most vacs. - The bright white LED light on the front is perfect for actually seeing dirt when lighting is low. In fact, you see the dirt better with the vac's light than with ambient lighting. - The handle comes off easily for spot vacuuming. Tools are stored securely on the vacuum. - The canister comes off very easily and empties out very smoothly. Some other bagless vacs require that you shake and reach into the canister to get everything out. The Shark is much cleaner to empty. Plus, there is nowhere for dust to get trapped, so no more banging the canister to get everything out. - The lift-away concept works very well. Good for stairs or cleaning out your vehicle. In summary, this Shark is one of the best vacs we have owned. This brand is on our buy list from now on. No disappointments yet, so we are happy to highly recommend!

The suction stopped working after a few weeks of use. I cleaned it up and removed all debree. but I still see the suction stops working for no reason what so ever. I just bought this vacuum cleaner and it doesn't work.

Lasted 5 months. I only have 1 carpeted room and one area rug in the living room. Huge disappointment.

Defective, common issue once I looked into it. The rolling brush wouldn’t work.

This item is garbage!! We have already had remove hair from around the brush twice.

Worked less than a year and the motor already shot, I guess I got what I paid for, cheap piece of junk.

Lately noticed an increase in dust and my family sneezing waking up with stuffy noses. I was using my old vac every day dusting every day and it wasn't helping, however the moment I used this Shark vac 1 room nearly filled the canister. The air smelled cleaner. The family wakes without sneezing and stuffy noses so immediately there was relief knowing that it was dirt dust trapped within the carpet the old vac was unable to reach. I can feel the suction pulling. The led light is bright enough where I can see under things like my chairs and dresser to help with an even better clean. I'm highly impressed because as a mom my house wasn't clean until now after seeing what was truly pulled from the rug. I don't have to dust daily as I was doing before.

This compact vacuum is light weight, yet feature packed. The suction is powerful and the tangle free roller is a plus with pet hair. Hair can get tangled but it eventually detangles unless it is a lot. The narrow brush makes it easy to get around furniture, however it can be difficult to get very far under beds, etc. The washable filter does a good job, but you will need to clean often to keep it working at maximum efficiency. The dust bin is easy to empty, but hair and carpet can sometimes be a little difficult to get out. For the cost it is a very good option for daily vacuuming and the dust bin can hold quite a bit for the small size.

Works great even with a long-haired husky in the house. Cleans up small dirt, long hair and big messes. The best vacuum i've owned yet. We liked it so much we bought one for my dad!

Cleans itself has a headlight, lightweight, and is powerful. Only reason not a 5 because it broke after 3 years and my Best Buy store brand lasted longer only reason it broke its because my dog chewed the cord.

My wife and I were long time Bissell users and was skeptical on getting a Shark due to all the marketing. Usually that it is a sign to me it is overhyped and not what it is, but being a user for 4 years, I can say I am confident in their product

I've been through many vacuums having 2 German shepherds and 4 kids. It works fine but needs manual maintenance like every 4 vacuums. I have to clear the stuck hair that enters the roller which is annoying. Worst is everytime I dump the duster I have to use my hand to remove what's stuck in the upper bin. Gross....

Easy to use and great quality. Well worth the purchase.

This was a gift for our daughter. She had been using a canister vacuum but wanted something new. She loves this vacuum so much and loves that it is super easy to use. It is also relatively light as she has many stairs. She also love the light as it allows her to see where she is cleaning.

For a minute there, I actually thought that Shark must stand behind their products. 5 year warranty sounded good, so I bought the vacuum. Their website says that the warranty covers everything except for wearable parts such as filters, rollers, pads, etc. Fine, I get that. However, when you actually call to initiate a warranty claim (which is a huge pain, and they do everything possible to hide where to do that from you once you actually call the number) they tell you, "Oh, well you're aware that the warranty only covers the motor, right?" Um... no! Because you said it covered everything but consumable parts! Now you're telling me that the floor nozzle is a consumable part and needs regular replacement? On an upright vacuum? No. That's garbage. Actual garbage treatment of your clients. Shark is a legitimate ripoff. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. When this piece of garbage from this garbage company breaks, you will have to spend $100 to replace the floor nozzle. I'm not talking an attachment. I'm talking the main unit that spins the brushes, the bread and butter of an upright vacuum. It is made of cheap, brittle plastic, and when it breaks under regular use, they'll ask you to just buy a new one for $80-90 plus shipping and tax. What a waste of time and money. AVOID.

The suction power is great. I don't like the power cord being on the right side (on my other shark it's on the left). It makes it difficult to maneuver. I am also not pleased with the pet tool doesn't roll well and sticks. Overall I find this vacuum difficult to use for a women who uses it at least once a day due to a very hairy German Shepherd.

Excellent vacuum makes carpets clean and fresh. Would buy again
