If you've ever used a push mop with refillable sheets then you will be right at home with the Shark Vacuum Mop. This model adds a vacuum function and motion sensing LED headlights. That, paired with a magnetic charger makes this seem like a premium cleaning tool. Build quality is great. Assembly was done in 1 min. The head pivots to make reaching hard to reach places very easy. The rechargable lithium ion battery held full charge and had strong suction the entire mopping session. I wish the handle had an adjustable height as I am a bit taller than most. When moping I found that the disposable sheets filled up way too quickly and that the solution reservoir was empty 10 min into vacuum/mopping. This could get expensive if you had to replace two pads and two cups of solution every time you mop. The suction helps keep your floors dry and I feel that while the battery could handle medium to even large sized rooms, it's better suited for medium to small sized rooms due to the small head. It's also a little tiring to have to hold the vacuum button down while mopping and a button locking feature would be a welcome addition in future models.

OMG. I don't know where I've been, but I love this mop.

I was not sure about another stick type mop, and would it be worth the purchase. I do not know if I am completely sold on it or not, but I have listed my findings below. The machine is made by Shark, which has been one of the leading manufactures of light weight vacuums in the recent years. The stick Vacmop is made solid and is well put together. It weighs only 3.5 pounds, so it is easy to use and carry around. It has a small chamber built into the front of the disposable pad that collects debris while Vacuuming. It also has a spray nozzle built at the bottom of the main housing that you can use to spray the floor as you mop. We have a floor steamer that we usually use, but it does not make the floor shine like the cleaner that comes with the Vacmop. Another nice feature about the Vacmop is that it is cordless and has a magnetic charging port that you connect to the charger. It seems to have a long battery life, I was able to Vacmop around 1200 sq. feet without it dying, I ran out of floor before it ran out of juice. It also comes with 2 cleaning pads to try. You can buy a 10 pack of replacements for around 10 dollars. I found that if you are only getting the dust off the floor and not cleaning up spills, that you get more mileage out of the pad than you would one of the other competitors dust pads. Putting on and taking off the pad was pretty simple, just need to line it up to put it on and pushing the release valve to dispose of it. The Vacmop comes with LED headlights which I guess could be useful, I usually do not vacuum in the dark, so I would not know, but maybe for mopping under a table or a couch it might be beneficial. It seems to be a great little machine, the pads will cost a little more than the basic dust pad, but you do get the benefit of using them while vacuuming without a bag.
