This shark works great! We had a Shark before this and was in need of a new one. We have mostly hardwood and this vacuum works very well on the hard floors.

I bought a few weeks ago, it work well, clean perfect but I am getting electric shock after using every 1-2 minutes. I am not able to recommend any one due to this electric shock. In first use it was very less and minor, but in second time it was quite high. Waiting for solution from seller feedback- Is there any way to get rid off? otherwise I am returning the product.

Love it except I wish it had longer battery life. Only lasts for a little over 30mins.

The engineering of this device is amazing. The way the device comes apart, self-stores, and goes under furniture. It is the worse purchase I've made of the year. It works great as a hand vac. It's good for sucking up cobwebs. It works great on stairs, but prepare for disappointment if you can see what you want to vacuum up, then prepare for disappointment. Often, it ends up pushing dirt instead of sucking it up. As a result, the rollers get clogged, and it makes its own dust bunnies. But when the dust bunnies get loose, you'll be running for a broom and dustpan. Highly engineered, flexible use, terrible performance.

Purchased this to replace an older Shark vacuum (I think it was the DuoFlex). This vacuum was a great upgrade. I can cover the entire home (ranch-style) and still have juice to spare. That's even with occasional use of "Turbo" mode. It does a great job cleaning!

Great vacuum if you have pets as well as family members that have allergies as it traps everything.

Great vacuum for little spills and messes. Not so great for pet hair or cleaning up hay from the Guinea pigs. Pet hair and hay gets stuck and clog up the vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum to replace my Dyson which is about 4 years old and I thought it was getting bad on the suction. The vacuum is not bad but it is very heavy. For being a new vacuum the suction was not great. I will purchase another Dyson instead.

---Summary--- I really like this Shark Cordless Vacuum. It is lightweight, portable, and most importantly has very powerful suction. The flexible stick and handheld configurations are perfect for big or small jobs, and cleans areas like the stairs and corners where a corded vacuum is difficult to use. Cordless vacuums keep getting better and better each generation, and this model is no exception. Normally I use a cordless vacuum to supplement my corded vacuum, but we are at a point where that is no longer necessary. This excellent vacuum can take the place of a corded vacuum for most homes. It works that well! ---Setup--- I was able to easily assemble the vacuum without referring to the instructions. Everything intuitively snaps together. The numerous modes were easily configured and simple to change, once I did it a few times. Cordless stick vacuums like this tend to be top heavy so it can be folded forward for low profile storage. The included vacuum attachments do not attach to the vacuum for storage. I don’t mind this because most of the time I don’t use them, and I tend to get annoyed when attachments fall or get knocked off the vacuum while I am using it. ---Design and Performance--- This vacuum can be configured to use as a stick or handheld vacuum. It can also be configured in a few different ways to function as a hybrid stick or handheld vacuum. For standard use the steering and maneuverability are outstanding. The small footprint and cordless design easily reaches places that a full size corded vacuum would have trouble getting to. The included attachment tools work well and met my expectations. Even though this vacuum is powered by a battery, it features a very powerful motor that generates powerful suction. I was very impressed at how deeply this vacuum was able to clean. If you have not been using a quality vacuum, then you will likely have to empty the dust compartment numerous times. This is because the powerful suction the Shark generates is getting dirt that your other vacuum wasn't reaching. Once you have cleaned your place fully, then that won't be an issue anymore. The suction strength is adjustable but remember that the most powerful setting will drain the battery faster. Likewise the turbo boost trigger button drains the battery faster as well. I have found that first power setting to be more than powerful enough for most cleaning. The dust container is very easy to remove and empty. The filters can be taken out rinsed and reused. Shark is known for designing vacuums that do not get hairs or fibers tangled in the brush roll, and this model impressively continues that tradition. I am very happy to report that I did not have to cut hairs from the roller head with scissors. This vacuum is about as loud as you would expect for a vacuum. I have never had a powerful vacuum that wasn't loud. My pets hate it, and yours likely will too. But it is no louder than any other vacuum I have used. The rechargeable battery can power the vacuum for up to 1 hour on the lowest setting. If you use the higher settings (or the boost trigger) then the running time will be less. The battery can be charged attached to the vacuum or removed for charging. Indicator lights show the battery charging status and charge level. I really appreciate the LED lights because they help with the cleaning. Shark has found a way to include lighting without having an appreciable effect on the run time. Most cordless vacuums don’t include lights because they drain the battery, so well done Shark.
