I previously had a Shark Navigator DLX which I loved. The hose ended up tearing where connected to the sweeper so no replacement part was available. I purchased the Vertex DuoClean PowerFin Upright. This new machine is heavier and the roller keeps turning on the red light when I vacuum over throw rugs (that didn't happen before). The roller also seems to make the machine harder to pull back (even when on the high carpet setting). The waste bin is small so i have to keep emptying because i have a pet. I let the return date go by, but if I could do again I would not purchase this vacuum cleaner.

It's been a great vacuum so far compared to out last vacuum. It had great power and the best settings for different types of flooring than I've dealt with in the past.

We love our new Shark Vertex! Had a Dyson Big Ball Animal Vac for several years and it lost its suction over time. This new Shark has exceeded expectations. Would definitely recommend. If you have carpet, it’s almost like a self propelled vac. With three dogs in our house, we had to get something that would pick up dog hair easily. We have all hardwood floors and a few area rugs. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this Shark.

I've only had it a few weeks, but i love it, especially considering I'd been manually sweeping my LVP floors. It works wonderfully. I couldn't see a speck of anything after i finished vacuuming... annnd fast!!

It is good for cleaning rugs and cafets. It sucks strong and roll well on any surfaces.

Great vacuum especially for a home with 4 Corgis!!! Love the variable floor height adjustments and the versatility to remove the canister for hard to reach areas under tables and on stairs. . I have owned it since May and do far no issues at all! Love it!!

Bought because my dyson was losing suction and needed replacing. The shark is lighter amd more manageable than my dyson and the animal hair attachment is great to vacuum furniture. I would recommend this vacuum to friends and family.

2+ years later this thing is still doing its thing and cleaning up after my kids. Best purchase ever, oddly enough, and it’s a vacuum!!

My sister just bought a new house with 2 stories. She wanted this one for upstairs where all the bedrooms are, where all the carpet is. She absolutely loves this thing! Sucks up like crazy! And can get to everything. I bought the warranty so she wouldn't have to worry for awhile and could get Best buy to fix it if any issues arise. Works great. Easy to push and turn. Expensive but Worth it.

I like this product. It is Lightweight with a lot of power. It is very easy to clean.

Took it home and used it right away to vacuum the living room we had just done before we left to run errands and were very surprised at the amount of junk this one picked up over our last "top shelf" vacuum. My wife absolutely loves it.

Got this vacuum for my wife that she’s been wanting and she absolutely loves it! It was time for an upgrade from what we currently had and let me tell you that it’s a major difference. Glad we went with this one! Highly highly recommend.

So far so good. It suck just like it's supposed to. Bough what I thought was the best, still too soon. Easy to use, seems to do the job.

Got this vacuum as an addition for the first floor. Other vacuum is also a Shark. Love the performance of the Sharks and got this one specifically for it's fins, as we have a dog that sheds a lot. So far, no noticeable hair on the roller after several months.

Everyone at home is happy; the cleaning tasks have become easier and more enjoyable to do.
