Good vacuum but didn’t last more than 2 years before the power stopped

Love this vacuum can't say enough great things about it.

Absolutely love this vacuum and such a great deal.

Replaced an old Hoover. This machine, with two beater bars, picked up so much carpet dust and stuff I had to empty the container before I was finished. Guess it really was time to get a new one. Easily maneuverable. Works well on floors too. Very happy with purchase.

Vacuumed very well but, but also heavy to use and made all out of plastic for $399.00 and that was with $80.00 off found that was not a good buy. I wish you could try it at store before purchase but they don’t allow that just a plastic model on display no motor no cord so you really have no idea what you are getting

We bought this based on great reviews online and from friends. Overall the vacuum is great. It picks up dog hair very well and the front roller is nice for picking up dirt near walls. The front roller stopped working after 8 months. I called shark to start the warranty process and was told the head is bad and that is NOT covered under the 5 year warranty. I had to order a new head to install myself. For $400, I expected it to last longer or at least honor the warranty. No more Shark products.

I love the light but the suction is not very strong and have to give it several passes in the same spot. For the price i think there should be something better

Very easy to switch to different modes of vacuuming. I like the headlights too.

I love this vacuum but there are a few flaws I don't care for. One in particular is when you release.the wand , use it and put it back. When putting it back in the normal position you have to make sure it really clicks. If it isn't, the moment you go to pull the vac back it pops the wand off. I do this to myself all the time even though I knew it heard it click in.

Does a great job on our carpets. Really gets up all the pet hair.

Really like my Shark vacuum just wish it was a little bit lighter to lift

I loved everything about the shark Vertex vacuum except for the fact that it just stopped working for no apparent reason. I bought one, vacuumed one room, turned it off to go to another room and it was dead when I tired to turn it back on. (The filter was not full and I plugged it in correctly. I returned it and Best Buy kindly exchanged it for another one. After several uses the second one died too. All my friends swear by Shark so I exchanged the second one for a different model by Shark. I haven't used it yet but am hopeful I won't have problems with this new one. At least Best Buy was kind enough to let me exchange the problem sweepers.

When it works it’s great and powerful but this is the second time in a span of less than a year that it has just stopped working. It is simply not turning on and it’s very frustrating. The first time it happened was within the first week of purchase and then it started to work again a couple of days later. This time it has not turned on and there is nothing I did to make this not work. It is cleaned regularly and used in a home.

Perfect vacuum. Cleans carpet and tile equally well. Easy to maneuver in tight spots. I really like the fact there no dust. I would recommend this unit to my friends.

I guess these Shark vacuums are made to be disposable now. Went to change the belt today after only 1 and 1/2 years of use. Screws are hidden so well that everything just breaks trying to do some basic repair. It’s ridiculous as it was $450 I’ve always used the sharks but no more as im always replacing. Tagt should tell me something about their quality. Should have just went with a Dyson.

Vacuum lasted only 10 months. I purchased the extended protection plan, so they replaced it with a new one. The 2nd vacuum lasted only 3 weeks!

How it's possible that a product doesn't work just from a box? I have just received it and open and the roller at the bottom doesn't spin. It costs 400 dollars. Really? For not working heavy vacuum?

The cord is having wiring issues and the vacuum will not turn on. We will be returning this item.
