I love everything about this vacuum. I’ve been a long time Shark user but this is hands down the best oke I’ve owned. Hair is a big problem in my house and the bristles just keep wrapping and wrapping with a death grip and its very difficult to clean. This vacuum has the fins which make that part so easy! I buy the filters on Amazon for a lot cheaper. My only complaint and I can live with this since this vacuum is so easy to clean/maintain, but it does not have a light when using the handle. Shark, please consider adding this feature and this will hands down be the perfect vacuum!

Love this vacuum, and I hate vacuuming! Works wonders on our hardwood floors, literally moves itself across carpets, easy to empty, and the fact that it will go flat to get under beds etc., is awesome. Highly recommend.

I purchased this vacuum a few weeks ago and, thus far, I am thoroughly impressed with it. It replaced a 10 year old+ Shark vacuum that sadly loss it’s will to live. First, this vacuum is powerful! After first use, I was amazed (shocked) at the amount of dust and dirt it pulled from our rugs with ease. Second, this is a very versatile cleaner. The lift away feature is great for cleaning in high and tight areas and all of the attachments are useful and easily accessible. Third, it seems very sturdy and intuitive. You can tell Shark listens to customers and makes tweaks to each model, which makes the vacuum’s buttons/release mechanisms just make sense and are easily found. Lastly, this vacuum is reasonably priced, when compared to competitors (Dyson, etc) and Best Buy also had a great sale. If you want a vacuum that is “old school” (corded and not internet enabled) and gets the job done well, I highly recommend.

This vacuum has great suction on laminate floor, tile, and carpet. The different components are labeled so you easily know how to use the vacuum. The vacuum has a guided pull on the carpet and the head of the vacuum can make flexible turns. It also. has an LED light that is nice to help you see the floor better. The design of the vacuum has kept it from getting hair wrapped around it. Overall, just a really great buy.

This is my 2nd Shark vacuum. I had my last one for 20 years and this one pulls out all the stops with upgrades. Works great on my new carpet. I really like that hair doesn't get caught in the rollers and that it has three levels for floor types. The self-propelling function is nice, too.

Amazing vacuum! the handle is so convenient in that it transitions from hardwood to thick carpet & it does a great job at vacuuming all areas of the home. I’ve had it for 10 months and use it 2-3/week

This vacuum seems much like the old shark rotaor that it repcaed which is a good thing. It feels a tad bit heavier but I could be getting old. The control are on the handle which is the proper spot for them. The duo clean is new to me but does a superior job especially on hardwood.

I absolutely love love love this vacuum! I have been through many styles and brands and Shark is the best value! I have 2 dogs who shed and this vacuum sucks up everything and their hair doesn’t get caught in the fins. That is a huge plus. The capacity in it could be bigger, that would be my only complaint.

By far my favorite Shark vacuum I’ve ever had. Heavy duty, great suction especially if you have pets. Can’t wait to keep using it and see how powerful it is. I was considering buying a Dyson but this vacuum definitely caught my attention and will have me returning to Shark in the future. So many great tools and ways to use it. Very versatile and worth the price point.

Let me start this off by saying that we have seven cats, one dog, and two humans in our house. When it comes to couches, I'm sure everyone here can deduce that vacuuming is a regular occurrence. We only have hard floors in our home, so I was simply using our shop vac on our couches. However, when we saw this vacuum on sale and saw its awesome reviews, we decided it was time to get a vacuum designated for indoor use. All ten beings in our house agree it was one of our best purchases! This vacuum works far better on our couches than our shop vac did! Vacuuming the couches (and steaming them afterward with our new steamer) has strangely become one of my favorite chores. Using the vacuum hose can be a little clunky, as it feels rather short when the vacuum cleaner is on - however, that means the powerful suction is actually doing its job! If I'm getting proper performance, that little bit of extra maneuvering I have to do is more than worth it.

My 1st floor is hardwood flooring but my 2nd is all carpet and let me say this thing cleans the carpet like a champ, my only issues since the chord is on the left side its a little bit awkwardly to use the carry, take apart mode whatever you wanna call it when you when vacuum the stairs and or the ceiling

Shark - Vertex DuoClean Vacuum it's excellent vacuum, it has better defizzing tool and it’s easier to clean wood floor or carpet, easy to use, good price.

I have a small cleaning business and use SHARK vacuums daily. I love these vaccums and currently in love with vertex- no hair tangled mess, large dirt cup, never ever loses suction( even when dirt cup is full), has “headlights”, use with ease , grrat for households with kids, animals, and alot of traffic!!

Let me start out by saying I love Shark Vacuums. This is the third one I have owned from Shark. The biggest con I would say is the price, but you truly get what you pay for. This vacuum has very good suction, comes apart so you can vacuum the steps easier and looks great. It also comes with a great warranty and great customer service! I would highly recommend!

LOVE it! Other reviews warned about the heaviness... but it's really not that bad. It's not lightweight - heard. It does a heavy duty job and holds so much more than my old vacuum that I had to empty like 2 times doing one room because we have pets. THIS one allows me to do 2 rooms. So happy with it. Easy to do the stairs with the canister detachment too.

At first I was skeptical about paying more than I had for our previous vacuum but after the first time use this model had me sold. Easy to clean the moving parts and this thing sucks! We have 3 big dogs and their hair can get everywhere, with this shark the hair is no problem. If you ever questioned buying a more expensive vacuum compared to the cheaper ones and have pets I would recommend going this route any day.

Picks up everything in one pass. Power lift-away is great. I've had another Shark for about 7 years. Sharks are well built machines. Ordering on-line with Best Buy was easy. On-line support was very good.

Great machine but… yes, hair gets wrappled/clogged so you need to take out the roll at least monthly (if you hardly vacuum, like me) to cut the dog hair out. But otherwise, it’s really good. One caveat - I have a bunch of accessories for things like dusting, and under appliances, but the suction on this is SO STRONG, even with the air vent open, that it sucks down on the machines hose and forces it to shorten. So if you’re trying to dust up high or be careful, good luck. You’ll have to keep all 8 of your hands on the machine to stabilize it at the same time you’re trying to reach up, say, to dust on top of a hutch, otherwise the machine constantly falls over. And it feels like you’re wrestling a live thing, because of how powerful it is, when you’re trying to use the hose (for something that really should just be simple). The hose should be at LEAST a foot longer, and more stabilized so it doesn’t pull/shorten under the vacuum pressure. Also SharkClean doesn’t sell any extra lengths of hose for this, so the one hand on accessory, other hand on machine wrestling match is never-ending. If you just want to push vacuum around the house, you should be fine. Otherwise, it’s quite frustrating.

Only con is its not meant for water. But the power is top tier. Easy to store and light

This is the second shark product that I have purchased and they both are great products. The first one that I bought was about 8 years ago and it was a vacuum but the hose broke. I bought this one and then I ended up calling shark to get a replacement hose and they sent to it me so I am now using my old vacuum for my garage and cars. I would definitely recommend to buy a shark vacuum.
