Note: It's a little heavy. It also pulls itself forward, so you get a good workout going back and forth over the same spot. We had a $99 Black Friday special Shark that lasted 38 months. After going back to a Bissell, the cleaning wasn't as good. I got this Shark and hope it will last a little longer due to the price. It's picking up dust and debris well on the first pass. Wife is happy with it.

In love with our new hoover (sad I know) but we’ve had Dyson in the past and were looking forward for a change as I find dysons quite heavy. The fact that it comes apart makes it so much easier to clean one area in one go rather than coming back to it (so I would do all floors then go get the attachment for the areas where the front hoover couldn’t get through!) we love it!

So far it’s been a great replacement to a commercial style vacuum. Putting it together was a snap. The fixtures allow for cleaning a lot of different areas. Suction is great too. This is the 4th Shark vacuum I’ve purchased. Two for home and two for work. This one was for our janitor who has been in the cleaning business for 40 years. When I asked her what brand of vacuum she wanted to replace our broken commercial one, she said “Shark. They’re the best.”

What an amazing vacuum, the suction power is GREAT! I have a Lab and all hardwood floors and it works wonders. The carpet options are amazing fpr area rugs. Delivery was quick as well. If you have a fur baby, I highly recommend.

Overall we are pleased with our new Shark. A couple of items we don't like about changing from DYSON to SHARK is the vacuum head size is much smaller in width, would be nicer if wider. The cord is shorter and again would be nice if 5 ft. longer. We added a 10 ft. black cord to give us the extra length. Fairly easy to use and suction is great, I would say it beats our old DYSON. It's easier to clean out after use, nothing seems to get stuck which always happened with dog hair from our animals. We are happy, now let's see if it lasts longer than the DYSON which is very disappointing.

So far, its a really great vacuum. Long cord, great suction. My only issues are the tank is small so it needs to be dumped halfway through when vacuuming the whole house and it pulls itself along so it tires out my hand/wrist, for whatever weird reason. Those 2 issues are really nothing overall and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

I fell in love with this vacuum after the first use! Assembly was a breeze right out of the box. Love the ease of going from carpet to bare floors, how it easily tilts to fit under beds and tables, and how smoothly it navigates corners. The suction power on this is outstanding too! I was amazed at just how much more it picked up after using my previous vac! And the cool rose gold color was a nice little bonus. DEFINITELY recommend this vacuum!

Powerful vacuum that sucks up dirt I didn't know I had - just looking at the waste holder shocks me each week. Since the bulky motor detaches to become a more mobile unit, I get more flexibility under furniture and in tight corners. But since it's corded, it has your typical cord drawbacks: -Cord already frayed in a 1" segment (only after 3 months, unfortunately!); -Cord loses it's glossy exterior coating (again after only 3 months!), and is now more prone to tangling than before; This is not a lightweight machine, but it certain has the weight and power to get the job done!

I love this vacuum. We have 2 dogs, a Newfoundland mix, and a black lab. This has no problem getting the fur up out of the carpet. The fact that I can also take apart the vacuum to use it in different ways is very nice. I vacuum our couches at least twice a week, and get the trim work on our ceilings weekly. It's very nice to not have the vacuum falling on my foot while stretching to reach everything. Also, it's pretty.

I went back and forth on which vacuum to purchase. Did it want the Dyson, iRobot, or this one. After many months and speaking to people. I decided to purchase this machine and I couldn’t be more happier with my decision. This vacuums auction is amazing. I always love the way my carpet looks after shampooing it, well this is exactly what it looks like after using this. The ease and versatility is top notch. Great purchase, happy investment.

Love it. It’s easy to disassemble to use just the wand and it is very powerful

Would give a 4 1/2 stars; but, we haven’t had it long enough to really rate the vacuum. It’s a little different to empty; although, that’s not really a negative point. It kind of pulls you along so - not a very heavy machine and it picks up a lot of dust with great suction. Would recommend it.

We haven't had the vacuum for very long but so far, it is great. It has good suction, can reach right to the edge making it easier to clean in hard places and is easy to empty.

Im a loyal Shark Vacuum customer so when I purchased this I had overestimated it’s abilities. I researched every Shark vacuum and this one was supposed to be the most powerful suction vacuum they have. While the suction is powerful, I don’t feel it is more powerful than my previous Shark vacuum. Overall, I feel like this one is very heavy and hard to maneuver around and under things however it does it’s job if you can get past all that.

I have had a Kirby for years and finally decided to try a different vacuum. I looked up all the reviews on as many vacuums as I could find... picked this one. Love the fact that I don't have to switch out bags anymore. It has alot of suction. It breaks down into a canister easily. We have three dogs and three cats... and I am having to empty it ALOT, which doesn't say much for my Kirby. I have no regrets with my choice.

We like this vacuum a lot. It is quite powerful, more so than the Dyson we've had for several years. It seems to pull itself, and that took some time to get used to. If you release the canister and wand you have to hold the canister, the hose doesn't let you get more than two or three steps away, but it's light enough to easily carry. It's easy to clean.

When my old Hoover died, I debated between getting another Dyson or the Shark Vertex. I had had a Dyson years ago. After reading a lot of reviews, I went with the Shark, and I am so glad I did! I have a large, long-haired dog. This Shark really picks up the dog hair! I do wish the canister was a little larger so I don’t have to empty it so often.

This vacuum has great suction. It also has a special attachment for getting out pet hair that works very well. It also has part of it that detaches for ease of use.

This is probably the best vacuum on the market. It picks up all dirt and debris in its path and does not toss it aside. Granted the cleaning path width isn't nearly as wide as expected but its more than made up for by having just one pass for all cleaning. A bit pricey but it pays for itself with the convenience. Also is amazing on carpets and leaves nicely wicked carpet fibers.
