We were looking for a great vacuum for a home with lots of carpet on different levels and so far I’m very impressed. It literally takes off it has so much suction. My only compliant that I’m hoping works itself out over time is that the hose is not very stretch, flexible, so the base often falls over, which isn’t ideal. But overall the vacuum is powerful and versatile and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

This vacuum has great suction inability to clean the hardwood floors and carpet with ease. Built well with a long power cord this is by far my favorite vacuum.

I've had Sharks for years so I thought I'd try a Hoover and returned it because it ate my throw rugs so then I thought I would try the Dyson Animal 2. Well it wouldn't lock in standing position very well or at all or take several times trying and with the ball feature it tips and about thunked me in the head a few times using the hose and attachment cleaning under furniture. Lovin the Shark Vertex with its more powerful suction for pet hair and dander. The lift away feature is awesome for under furniture. Can't go wrong with the Vertex!!

I love the vacuum, however one of the parts were cracked upon delivery. I did not notice until 2 days outside of the BestBuy return window. Unfortunately BestBuy refuses to help anyone after the window (2 weeks) , I am sure this comment wont help with the chance of winning a $400 coupon but wanted to share some valuable feedback That being said Shark has 90 day and 2 year warrantee on the item. Shark sent me a new part !!! Id buy directly from the supplier!!

This is awesome. I love it. Easy to handle. Cleans very well. Even great on floors. I have tiles and it becomes even more light on the floors.

Vacuum works great and has a lot of suction. The only complaint i can come up with is that it is heavy.

It was recommended by a friend and all I can say is that it works wonderful. Very easy to set up, easy to clean/maintain and it does get the job done.

Great purchase, we have 2 dogs and compared to our old vacuum this unit out performs the pick up of the hair. It is simple to use and versatile

Easy to assemble. Great suction. Sturdy. I like the 3 different settings and easy disconnects for hose and containers.

We purchased since we have two Newfoundlands and their dog hair is crazy… I don’t have to clean the brush as often which is really nice, and the suction is really good. The issue is 6 months in we had to take the whole thing apart to clean the inside from dog hair. It stopped working and the issue was not covered by the warranty… thank god for YouTube to help repair

I love this vacuum! It is however a little heavy as in it's hard to push when it's cut on but I believe that is because of the powerful suction it has.

Powerful and efficient it cleans very well, a little heavy but worth the clean it gives.

I had a Bissell and decided to upgrade to a Shark. You don’t realize how much your vacuum misses until you get a powerful Shark. I re-vacuumed an area I already did when I took my Shark out of the box and it picked up pet hair that the Bissell left over! I won’t get anything else but a Shark now.
