Note: Written by husband, user, and original selector. This vacuum cleaner is by far the best I've ever had. First, it is super powerful. It is very well designed. The placement of controls with light indicators on the handle is excellent. It is easy to maneuver the detachable unit really comes in handy. It's also very easy to clean and maintain But foremost it is a mean really superb cleaning machine. So there you go. Love it!

My second Shark vacuum. This one is heavier, however suction is very strong and it’s easier to use all the features. Only concern is the attachments can’t be kept on cleaner.

I love it because of its great suction with all surfaces and that it is so versatile.

This vacuum sucks- in the best way imaginable. Definitely has some force to it, and if your carpet has a bit of a pile to it, you’ll get a workout! The motorized head has a light on it, but the removable handheld hose doesn’t (like the older model). So, if you’re an older model too (like me), you might miss that. Additionally, the front bristle has been replaced with a soft brush which is not abrasive at all; now you can blame your dogs or your husband for any scuffs that appear on the floor. I recommend this vacuum for anyone that wants all the little crumbs or scraps, the hairs, and the fur removed from their homes!

Ditched my previous (old) Hoover as we were just wearing each other down - neither of us wanted to do the work anymore. Spent some time researching and prioritizing what I wanted from my next domestic bliss cleaning partner, and selected this Shark Vertex. So easy to use, such incredibly clean results (simultaneously good AND gross), and I’m soooo happy with my purchase.

Had been using a Dyson. When we got this one we noticed a huge improvement with the cleanliness of our hardwood floors and carpet. Feel like we went from vacuuming twice a day. Two twice a week. And we have two cats and two dogs. This thing has been amazing.

This was an upgrade from a previous Shark model. The flexibility this vacuum offers for doing the work on stair ways under furniture and on just regular open floor is amazing. It's a little heavy but not a showstopper.

Love this vacuum! Picks up really well as I have two long haired dogs. Only issue is it is very heavy!

I have had. Shark Professional rotator for 9 yrs. It’s worn out. Just got this one a few weeks ago. Suction is even better than the last one. So far a good vacuum.

Best vacuum ever owned way better than my Dyson does not have a brush that gathers nasty hair and hard to clean had minor matting Dyson did not fix this vacuum first try got the dirt up and the matting gone had to empty canister after first use.

I bought this to replace my Dyson Ball that has provided me many years of use. I loved my Dyson but this, by far, has greater flexibility in getting into those harder to reach spots. The ability to remove the canister and take the hose with me has saved so much time. I was hesitant because of the price tag but after seeing the results, I knew that this vacuum was a great choice for my home.
