I had just finished vacuuming when the power switch failed on another major brand vacuum. We reviewed several brands on line and decided to see some at the store before making a decision. We came away from the store with the Shark. We were wanting to see what it would do. Just hours after using the old machine, we vacuumed the same carpet area and actually pulled out more dust that the other brand had on the first pass. The shark has lived up to its reputation.

The vacuum is really powerful and easy to use. My only complaint is that the light goes off when I detach the hose from the unit. Hard to see things without the light.

LOVE IT!!! This has been in my cart for almost a year and of course I was trying to see when it would be discounted to go down lower, but I know it wouldn’t being a shark vacuum. I know several people that owns them and they are worth the money. I just went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought it and I am very pleased! I am very happy with my purchase!

Best the only thing is a little heavy but I’m in love

Great vacuum cleaner for the price point. Has the ability to clean up pet hair with ease.

This is the best vacuum! Worth every penny. This is my first corded vacuum in years. Does great with pet hair on all surfaces. Only downside is it’s a little heavy but it’s worth it for the powerful cleaning ability.

It has great suction. Great versatility. Love the self cleaning head. Only problem hard to tore apart

I honestly could say with confidence that this is the best vacuum I have ever used. It has great mobility and flexibility, spectacular controls and device attachments, and is just overall fun and easy to use. I have definitely got such a great vacuum for a very reasonable price!

I previously had a Shark Navigator DLX which I loved. The hose ended up tearing where connected to the sweeper so no replacement part was available. I purchased the Vertex DuoClean PowerFin Upright. This new machine is heavier and the roller keeps turning on the red light when I vacuum over throw rugs (that didn't happen before). The roller also seems to make the machine harder to pull back (even when on the high carpet setting). The waste bin is small so i have to keep emptying because i have a pet. I let the return date go by, but if I could do again I would not purchase this vacuum cleaner.

It's been a great vacuum so far compared to out last vacuum. It had great power and the best settings for different types of flooring than I've dealt with in the past.

We love our new Shark Vertex! Had a Dyson Big Ball Animal Vac for several years and it lost its suction over time. This new Shark has exceeded expectations. Would definitely recommend. If you have carpet, it’s almost like a self propelled vac. With three dogs in our house, we had to get something that would pick up dog hair easily. We have all hardwood floors and a few area rugs. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this Shark.
