If you're looking for a vacuum for hardwood floors, just stop looking. This is it. Seriously, I love it so far, powerful suction, it even cleans areas where I would usually would have to bend down and scrub with my hands. Although be ready to put on a workout if you have weaker arms, as it is very heavy, but only because you need at that weight for all that power.

Picks up everything in one pass. Power lift-away is great. I've had another Shark for about 7 years. Sharks are well built machines. Ordering on-line with Best Buy was easy. On-line support was very good.

This is the first Shark Vacuum we have purchased and are very pleased! We have been buying Dyson's and with our dog, we're constantly cleaning the brush roller. This vacuum advertised that it will not clog up with hair and is self cleaning, and so far, this is true! This vacuum does a great job on hardwood floors as well as carpet! Our only complaint is that it could be a little lighter, although it pushes pretty easy. To sum it up, we really like this vacuum!!

Love this vacuum. It has a really powerful suction. I couldnt believe the amount of dog hairs that it got up. Jus to see if it was better I had previously run over the carpets with my old cylinder vacuum. Then I used the Shark Vertex and it filled the dust canister 3 times. Amazing. It is a little heavy to get used to at first, but now it's no problem. Sometimes the front fins wont spin if I have been using it on hard floors. Just have to turn off and back on for them to start.

I've had this vacuum for over a month now and used it about four different times. Overall, it does a great job of cleaning and picking up both dirt and dog hair. It's suction is super powerful, and is a better quality to some of the other vacuums I've had. Unfortunately, it is extremely heavy, and very hard to vacuum the whole house without my shoulder and arm fatiguing. Also, the Head is quite large and does not fit under standard cabinets or smaller places due to its size. I like that the body of the vacuum detaches from the stick if you want to get underneath things like beds. However, getting it back on usually knocks all of the attachment tools off which is irritating, and makes me want to use it less often in that way. This attachment for cleaning the couch or other fabric furniture, does not work at all. The second you put it on the couch it stops running. I had to buy a very expensive attachment tool that worked better.

This is hands down the best vacuum we have ever owned. Also the prettiest vacuum! 10/10 recommend its so easy to empty out and hasnt ever gotten jammed with anything. We are a house full of girls so there is hair everywhere which has also been a challenge with vacuums. This one is amazing!

Only con is its not meant for water. But the power is top tier. Easy to store and light

Excellent vacuum power to pick up cat hair. Multiple attachments for a variety of uses in the house. Does an amazing job.

I absolutely love love love this vacuum! I have been through many styles and brands and Shark is the best value! I have 2 dogs who shed and this vacuum sucks up everything and their hair doesn’t get caught in the fins. That is a huge plus. The capacity in it could be bigger, that would be my only complaint.

SPECTACULAR ‼️ I Love my New Shark vacuum cleaner ❣ It's Awesome, Suction is Great. My carpet is almost 30 years old, Yup, I can hardly believe it either. This Amazing vacuum cleaner has brought my carpet back to life. I had a Shark Professional navigator for 15 years, it finally gave up, so after much research I decided on this gem, So Thankful I did. It's made my cleaning much easier!

Note: It's a little heavy. It also pulls itself forward, so you get a good workout going back and forth over the same spot. We had a $99 Black Friday special Shark that lasted 38 months. After going back to a Bissell, the cleaning wasn't as good. I got this Shark and hope it will last a little longer due to the price. It's picking up dust and debris well on the first pass. Wife is happy with it.

I Have had this Vacuum for about 3 years now. Great Vacuum, still cleans and suction is as strong as Day One. I recommend reading the care guide and make sure to wash/clean the filter every 2 weeks or depending on how often you vacuum and to wash out the canister. I soak the dirty filter in water with dish detergent and rinse with cold water and let it dry for 24hr or stick it in a dryer on low heat. If you do regular maintenance and cleaning it out it should last a long time.

So far it’s been a great replacement to a commercial style vacuum. Putting it together was a snap. The fixtures allow for cleaning a lot of different areas. Suction is great too. This is the 4th Shark vacuum I’ve purchased. Two for home and two for work. This one was for our janitor who has been in the cleaning business for 40 years. When I asked her what brand of vacuum she wanted to replace our broken commercial one, she said “Shark. They’re the best.”

In love with our new hoover (sad I know) but we’ve had Dyson in the past and were looking forward for a change as I find dysons quite heavy. The fact that it comes apart makes it so much easier to clean one area in one go rather than coming back to it (so I would do all floors then go get the attachment for the areas where the front hoover couldn’t get through!) we love it!

Overall we are pleased with our new Shark. A couple of items we don't like about changing from DYSON to SHARK is the vacuum head size is much smaller in width, would be nicer if wider. The cord is shorter and again would be nice if 5 ft. longer. We added a 10 ft. black cord to give us the extra length. Fairly easy to use and suction is great, I would say it beats our old DYSON. It's easier to clean out after use, nothing seems to get stuck which always happened with dog hair from our animals. We are happy, now let's see if it lasts longer than the DYSON which is very disappointing.

I fell in love with this vacuum after the first use! Assembly was a breeze right out of the box. Love the ease of going from carpet to bare floors, how it easily tilts to fit under beds and tables, and how smoothly it navigates corners. The suction power on this is outstanding too! I was amazed at just how much more it picked up after using my previous vac! And the cool rose gold color was a nice little bonus. DEFINITELY recommend this vacuum!

Powerful vacuum that sucks up dirt I didn't know I had - just looking at the waste holder shocks me each week. Since the bulky motor detaches to become a more mobile unit, I get more flexibility under furniture and in tight corners. But since it's corded, it has your typical cord drawbacks: -Cord already frayed in a 1" segment (only after 3 months, unfortunately!); -Cord loses it's glossy exterior coating (again after only 3 months!), and is now more prone to tangling than before; This is not a lightweight machine, but it certain has the weight and power to get the job done!

I love this vacuum. We have 2 dogs, a Newfoundland mix, and a black lab. This has no problem getting the fur up out of the carpet. The fact that I can also take apart the vacuum to use it in different ways is very nice. I vacuum our couches at least twice a week, and get the trim work on our ceilings weekly. It's very nice to not have the vacuum falling on my foot while stretching to reach everything. Also, it's pretty.
