Great item. Just a little heavy to maneuver for senior person.

Always had a Dyson. My Purple Dyson has lasted me over 15 years, well the hose had a rip in it and thought maybe its time to just buy a newer vacuum. All my friend swore the Shark is by far the best. Well... I am totoally not convinced. It is hard to maneuver, the collecting basket needs to be emptied more often, the suction is about the same, the no tangle roller keeps getting the "red" light that is stating somethings tangled on the roller, The parts seems like a cheaper plastic. Just have mixed feelings about it for sure. :(

Best Vacuum EVERR! I am stunned. The amount this picked up right after I used my previous Shark, shocking. It is definitely worth the extra money, you wont regret it. My boyfriend does but who cares, he isn't the one who uses it. Do it. You need it.

This is my 2nd shark vertex duoclean. I now have one for each floor. I have 2 dogs and it works great removing hair even from deep carpets

This vacuum is AMAZING! We have 2 dogs including a German Shepherd that sheds like crazy! Our old vacuum couldn't keep up. The first time I used the Shark Vertex on our area rug my wife, who was extremely critical of our old machine, said that the rug looked like new! Couldn't be happier!

Works great! Excellent for keeping the house clean.

The vacuum does not perform as it was described for the item. The vacuum is extremely heavy , it is not as flexible with the turning is it is advised or advertised . When cord gets in front of the vacuum it will suck it up and rip it open.

Has good suction. When canister is full it won't pick up anymore dirt.

This is probably the best vacuum I've ever owed, and trust me I've owed a lot. The only real complaint I have is that it has a deceptively small cannister and you have to stop and empty it literally ever 2 minutes. Other than that it is an amazing product.

Works great. Have a lot of animals and it takes care of the hair with no problem. Way cheaper than a Dyson but works just as well

Wore out a Dyson Ball type and decided to try out a Shark. Was thoroughly impressed by a greater vacuum as soon as I started using the Shark. Buy a Shark. Only complaint with this and the dyson is the hose. Not long enough.

Awesome vacuum cleaner! It deep cleans your carpet and then you can switch the settings and use it on your kitchen floor! I used it a day after I vacuumed with my other vacuum and it picked up a lot of dirt my other unit missed! I also love how it pivots around everything!

This vacuum is well worth the money. I used my old vacuum in my house first, then used this one to see what it would pick up. It filled the container up! My only complaint is the hose attachment isn't very long, but I can easily work around that. Very lightweight.

well the self cleaning non hair wrap brush does work on the vacuum that part I like, I also like the suction which is very strong which sometimes is a pain because w bathroom rugs or anything cords stuff on floor can get sucked up fast and hard to pull out, what I don't like is cord is so long it gets sucked up in vac. too. disappointing is one of the attachments- hairless wrap vacuum piece for stairs- plastic has already cracked broken on nozzle piece that goes into vac handle- not even a yr old and only use once in a while so now I am trying to find another one?

Did I need this expensive vacuum? Yes. Yes I did. I have come to believe more expensive does not mean better, but this vacuum is the exception to the rule. Notably better than any I have owned, including other sharks.

Very impressed, replaced a Dyson and this is night and day difference. Love the detachable feature for the steps, you can really tell the difference. With the power fins I no longer have to clean hair and strings from the brush roll - so nasty! The Wife loves it too
