I have had a Kirby for years and finally decided to try a different vacuum. I looked up all the reviews on as many vacuums as I could find... picked this one. Love the fact that I don't have to switch out bags anymore. It has alot of suction. It breaks down into a canister easily. We have three dogs and three cats... and I am having to empty it ALOT, which doesn't say much for my Kirby. I have no regrets with my choice.

This vacuum is amazing, I had a shark wandvac that worked great too but once I used this vacuum it picked up dirty we didn’t even know was there. It works wonders on hard flooring and rugs. It has 3 settings for different floor types and it lets you know with a green or red light if you should change the setting to your flooring type you’re using it on. The different attachments help as well, it picks up everything on the couch and other harder areas to clean.

We love our Shark for keeping our hard floors clean. Powerful suction, long power cord, led lights to see all debris. We have two big dogs and use this vacuum daily. Will always buy Shark from now on!

At first I was skeptical about paying more than I had for our previous vacuum but after the first time use this model had me sold. Easy to clean the moving parts and this thing sucks! We have 3 big dogs and their hair can get everywhere, with this shark the hair is no problem. If you ever questioned buying a more expensive vacuum compared to the cheaper ones and have pets I would recommend going this route any day.

We like this vacuum a lot. It is quite powerful, more so than the Dyson we've had for several years. It seems to pull itself, and that took some time to get used to. If you release the canister and wand you have to hold the canister, the hose doesn't let you get more than two or three steps away, but it's light enough to easily carry. It's easy to clean.

What an amazing vacuum, the suction power is GREAT! I have a Lab and all hardwood floors and it works wonders. The carpet options are amazing fpr area rugs. Delivery was quick as well. If you have a fur baby, I highly recommend.

Im a loyal Shark Vacuum customer so when I purchased this I had overestimated it’s abilities. I researched every Shark vacuum and this one was supposed to be the most powerful suction vacuum they have. While the suction is powerful, I don’t feel it is more powerful than my previous Shark vacuum. Overall, I feel like this one is very heavy and hard to maneuver around and under things however it does it’s job if you can get past all that.

When my old Hoover died, I debated between getting another Dyson or the Shark Vertex. I had had a Dyson years ago. After reading a lot of reviews, I went with the Shark, and I am so glad I did! I have a large, long-haired dog. This Shark really picks up the dog hair! I do wish the canister was a little larger so I don’t have to empty it so often.

Would give a 4 1/2 stars; but, we haven’t had it long enough to really rate the vacuum. It’s a little different to empty; although, that’s not really a negative point. It kind of pulls you along so - not a very heavy machine and it picks up a lot of dust with great suction. Would recommend it.

Great vacume i am a house cleaner and this vacume is a beast and does everything i could need of it.

Excellent product for the price. Ours broke, user error...., so we are replacing with exactly the same unit as we like it that much.

Excellent vacuum power to pick up cat hair. Multiple attachments for a variety of uses in the house. Does an amazing job.

It's a Shark, works great, does what it should on carpet and our hardwood floors.

This is probably the best vacuum on the market. It picks up all dirt and debris in its path and does not toss it aside. Granted the cleaning path width isn't nearly as wide as expected but its more than made up for by having just one pass for all cleaning. A bit pricey but it pays for itself with the convenience. Also is amazing on carpets and leaves nicely wicked carpet fibers.

I Have had this Vacuum for about 3 years now. Great Vacuum, still cleans and suction is as strong as Day One. I recommend reading the care guide and make sure to wash/clean the filter every 2 weeks or depending on how often you vacuum and to wash out the canister. I soak the dirty filter in water with dish detergent and rinse with cold water and let it dry for 24hr or stick it in a dryer on low heat. If you do regular maintenance and cleaning it out it should last a long time.

I bought this for my parents who are in their 70s. They really love this vacuum. It’s very powerful and basically pushes itself. At first, they weren’t sure because it looks a little odd with the floor piece being smaller but it’s a really great vacuum.

My all time FAVORITE vacuum ever! It has great power and suction and I love how you can adjust the height of the brush roll. Great vacuum

I love shark because it is easy to use, easy to get corners and underneath the furniture, and it is not very heavy! on the newer models like this, you get to have all the attachments attached to the device which is perfect. It is very powerful too! If you are scared of vacuuming every time you are thinking about it, like me! I recommend this vacuum! It helps you to face your fears ;)

Couldn’t find many reviews that addressed how this unit handled pet hair, so we were worried if it would be up to the task. Boy, is it ever! We have two dogs that shed and a lot of carpet in the house, so keeping our floors clean has always been a challenge. We had a Dyson before this Shark and thought it was getting most all the pet hair because the canister was nearly empty- WRONG! We vacuumed our living room TWICE before using the Shark, to see if anything was missed by the Dyson. We only got about a QUARTER of the way through the living room before the Shark canister was full! This thing is a beast! My only gripes are that the vacuum head is a bit small (takes more passes than our Dyson) and the “self cleaning brush” still catches hair (especially longer human hair) so it’s not as maintenance free as the claims are. Highly, highly recommended regardless.

We haven't had the vacuum for very long but so far, it is great. It has good suction, can reach right to the edge making it easier to clean in hard places and is easy to empty.
