This is one “Sucky” vacuum! Literally. It sucks ip all the dirt on my floor and is so powerful! I like this vacuum a lot. It has great suction, switches from hard floor to deep carpets easily and has a long cord to tackle two rooms without unplugging. I would have hoped to have a longer hose extension. Maybe if I use it more often, it will stretch out.

Picks up everything in one pass. Power lift-away is great. I've had another Shark for about 7 years. Sharks are well built machines. Ordering on-line with Best Buy was easy. On-line support was very good.

For sure this is a powerful vacuum cleaner. So much so that is it hard for me to maneuver as a 72 year old with a weak wrist. It pulls to the left and hurts my wrist. One thing I really wish it provided is on board tool storage. I realize this would make the machine even heavier than it already is. Reviews say that its best function is on hard surface floors over plush carpets which is mostly in my home. After vacuuming the carpet with the shark, I went over the same areas and my old vacuum and was able to pick up more dirt and pet hair. For these reasons, I have returned the vacuum. It's just not a good fit for myneeds.

So far, its a really great vacuum. Long cord, great suction. My only issues are the tank is small so it needs to be dumped halfway through when vacuuming the whole house and it pulls itself along so it tires out my hand/wrist, for whatever weird reason. Those 2 issues are really nothing overall and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Best vacuum I have owned. the other one before this one said it was for pets but was always getting clogged and then taken apart to keep going. This vacuum however does it all no clogs even over the most heavy traveled areas of my pets. easy to set up easy to use. Worth every penny as it does the hard wood floor with a simple slide on the handle.

I've had this vacuum for over a year and it is the best vacuum I've ever owned. I have 2 daughters with long hair, my husband and I have long hair, and we have 3 long hair cats, a labrador, and a pittbull (lots of hair to be picked up). This vacuum is used DAILY and I have never had to unclog it. The suction is amazing and the self-cleaning brushroll really works. My lab is a work dog so I've used the Tneco brand and another top of the line vacuum to keep my work area clean and I'm now buying a second one of these because the others are constantly getting clogged with his hair. I 100% recommend this vacuum. Trust me, once you've used it you'll never want to use anything else.

Excellent vacuum cleaner. Did a great job of picking up debris as well as hair off the carpet. It was nice having the adjustment to go from hard flooring to low carpet or thick carpet.

This vacuum does an excellent job in cleaning. Ease of disassembly and emptying tank timesaving. Width of vacuum is smaller than my previous vacuums. I am still trying to learn the best way to steer and ouch the vacuum, it has a resistance and turns on an angle. Biggest disappointment is that the hand attachments are straight. They do not have a bend the would make it easier and ergonomic.

Plenty of suction power to suck up cat hair from three cats!

We just replaced our old Shark of 10+ years with this one and it’s fantastic. It’s more heavy duty than the last one but has fantastic cleaning power. It moves well and handles our tile, carpet and wood floors.

Great vac. Bought to replace a higher end Kenmore cannister vac and it is much more convenient to use and no expensive cannister bags that stink! Does great on bare floor and carpet. I have dogs and a cat and it does an excellent job at getting all the animal hair up! Bonus points for when I vacuum the bare floor, nothing spits back out at me from underneath...not even cat litter! It is heavy though, especially on the pull back

The shark is unbeatable with power, suction, speed and reliability. The only thing I would say it’s a tad heavy and pulls you if your on high carpet. Other than this easy set up, sucks up dog hair with ease and has a nice light on front! For the price try to catch a sale!

Love this vacuum. Great suction and all the controls are on the top handle for easy reach and the cord is extra long. My favorite part is the true lift away that enables you to get under furniture with the carpet piece on.

Works great on area rugs, thick carpet, and hardwood floors. Easy to clean and use in its different applications. Nice to remove the tank from the wheel base to clean stairs and things up high. A great vacuum.

This vacuum is amazing! I have a disability which prevents me from doing almost every household task one could imagine. The tasks I am able to attempt must be done with extreme care, and I must limit the time I do the particular task. My wife bought a "robo-vacuum" - you know the one. They hare circular in form, and are self guided. Those robo-vacuums are great on hardwood and tile. We thought the rob-vac was doing a good job on the (very) low-pile rug, but we were mistaken. One pass with this Shark Vacuum was all it took to realize how much dirt the robo-vac was missing! We were shocked! The Shark is so powerful! Thanks to the self propelling action of this vac, I can manage using it for about 5 minutes at a time and my wife can clean the house in 20 mins. This vacuum is very heavy. The cord also gets in the way very easily. Too easily in fact. Despite my best efforts I vacuumed the cord up slightly and it destroyed the cord. It is very hard to maneuver due to the weight. When using the handle attachment, the tubing to the vacuum is very springy and doesn't stretch very far. I ended up knocking over the vacuum while using this feature and denting my hard wood floor. I am returning this vacuum due to these reasons. I will be purchasing a hand held vacuum instead. With that said, the vacuum is powerful and does do a good job vacuuming but is hard to use and is heavy.

Oh my god...This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. More power than expected and so easy to use. Assembly took less than 5 minutes and it performs so good that it's hard to believe that I hadn't purchased one before this. I'm a retired Custodian and have used some pretty good equipment, this vacuum blows them all away.

This is a great vacuum, I have been vacuuming regularly, but on the same carpet which I just vacuumed, i was surprised with the amount of dust it sucked. A little on the heavier side tho.

Great vac. We had an older vacuum that was years old and I thought was decent. Wife kept saying this one is what a few friends cleaning companies use. Finally got it to show it would not be much better. We own this vacuum and have retired the other. After going over a rug 3 or 4 times with the old one I turned on this one. One pass over the rug and there was noticeable dirt in the container. I think the other brand may be as good, but will say wife was right and a new vacuum was needed. Downside is one attachment will not fit on vacuum. Throw the accessory away or duct tape it to the canister, either work.
