I bought this vacuum on Best Buy's Deal of the day. It is one of my best purchases!! Vacuum is very versatile and it works great!! Love the easy of use and also its ability to pick up a lot of debris from the carpet. Excellent suction!! Your carpet may look clean on the surface but dirty between the fibers or lower part. Love this vac!! Side Note: When I first picked up my order from BB, they gave me a USED-opened product. I'm 100% sure someone used it and returned it. Luckily I opened the box at my car and noticed that parts were put in backwards into the box, the brush head was filthy!!! Needless to say, I was super upset!!! How could they not be more careful about RETURNED used products. The box even had MY PICKUP tag! Shame on BestBuy for trying to resell a USED FILTHY product to another person. I immediately brought it back into the store and showed them what they gave me. In the end I got a new UNUSED vacuum. For those doing a pickup, check your box! Oh and on some reviews people claimed that the vacuum stopped working after couple uses. Well it did stop on me as well but I realized that if you don't have certain connections snapped in correctly, the vacuum will not turn on. So make sure if you disassemble vac to use it in various ways, make sure to snap it back in or it may not turn on. Possible safety feature perhaps.

Better than Dyson we had previously! We have a German shepherd and the amount of dust and hair this vacuum pick us up it’s amazing!

I absolutely love this vaccume! It really picks up the animal hair in my house. The self propell is pretty cool. I like the different ways it comes apart

This vacuum is amazing! Super easy to assemble, first of all. Ready to go in minutes! Works extremely well on hard wood, tile, and carpet.

We were looking for a great vacuum for a home with lots of carpet on different levels and so far I’m very impressed. It literally takes off it has so much suction. My only compliant that I’m hoping works itself out over time is that the hose is not very stretch, flexible, so the base often falls over, which isn’t ideal. But overall the vacuum is powerful and versatile and that’s exactly what I was looking for.

The suction in this thing is crazy good! Only downside I have is it it weighs a ton. Because it’s so new the hose doesn’t stretch really nice yet. Whacked myself with the machine more than a couple times dusting lol

I've had Sharks for years so I thought I'd try a Hoover and returned it because it ate my throw rugs so then I thought I would try the Dyson Animal 2. Well it wouldn't lock in standing position very well or at all or take several times trying and with the ball feature it tips and about thunked me in the head a few times using the hose and attachment cleaning under furniture. Lovin the Shark Vertex with its more powerful suction for pet hair and dander. The lift away feature is awesome for under furniture. Can't go wrong with the Vertex!!

It is easy to use and vacuums everything. I would buy this again.

This is awesome. I love it. Easy to handle. Cleans very well. Even great on floors. I have tiles and it becomes even more light on the floors.

Vacuum works great and has a lot of suction. The only complaint i can come up with is that it is heavy.

I have been a Shark customer for years, and I was always impressed with the quality and durability of each product. However, this vacuum far exceeds my previous love for Shark. I have an area rug in my living room, and I vacuum it twice a week. Now, not much traffic comes through, so I thought it was clean and had very few dirt particles in the rug. When I used the deep clean for thick rugs, I couldn't believe the dirt and debris it vacuumed up. My rug felt cleaner and softer afterward. This is an excellent product, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a Bissell and decided to upgrade to a Shark. You don’t realize how much your vacuum misses until you get a powerful Shark. I re-vacuumed an area I already did when I took my Shark out of the box and it picked up pet hair that the Bissell left over! I won’t get anything else but a Shark now.

I love this vacuum! I get everything I need done with ease and genuinely have cut down so much time on my cleaning routine! One of my biggest pet peeves is a vacuum that doesn't get the job done, my Shark has restored the faith in keeping the house clean with 4 dogs and 2 cats in a small home with moody weather constantly creating dirty paws.

It was recommended by a friend and all I can say is that it works wonderful. Very easy to set up, easy to clean/maintain and it does get the job done.
