Tried this the day that we got it and we had already run our old vacuum in the house. Wow this picked up sooooooooooooo much stuff I can't even tell you. Looking for a excellent vacuum for the price look no further.

Vacuum Shark

Bought a Dyson pet stick and was not happy with it. This one is heavier, but we have 2 dogs and it picks mup the hair better than any other vacuum I’ve ever had. Being able to easily wash and clean it is a big plus

Sucky Plastic

I’m not actually certain this is an upgrade. It feels more plasticky, they removed the LED from the stick, and you can no longer take the face plate off the power head to clean the inside. This is my third Shark vacuum; my first one died, too. They aren’t user serviceable as you cannot buy parts for them. Anti consumer company. Get the warranty or you’ll regret it.

When we purchased it, we had a long=haired dog, and the roller brush would get clogged with dog hair. No problem with this with the new vacuum. It is also pretty quiet. My only complaint is that the dust container has one narrow section and I need a stick to push the debris into the garbage.

Perfect for a Golden Retriever!
