We were really looking forward to the ultra HD picture. The Vizio was a much better TV even though the resolution was only 720p. The Vizio could be viewed from a much wider angle without the picture washing out. The Vizio had an info button on the remote that not only told you about the program you were watching, but also about upcoming programs. I have yet to find a similar feature on the Sharp. I have run the channel search function on the Sharp at least a dozen times and it still does not pick up all the channels the Vizio did and it does not pick up the channels as well. I have to constantly adjust the outside antenna. The Vizio allowed me to delete channels I did not want to search through. The Sharp does not. Even though the Sharp remote is smaller and lighter than the Vizio's, it is not as easy to operate. I had hoped to be able to get rid of my Roku, but the Sharp does not have a streaming app for Amazon, so I had to keep the Roku. If we had not thrown the box away, this turkey would be going back. I will never buy another Sharp product after this experience.

But the darn thing won't update, it says it needs an update and every time you try to update it, it gets stuck at 43% My mother bought the same tv in the 55inch size and it does the same thing. Also the remote is very cheaply, not the most important thing, but something to consider.

My only complaint is that the tv has netflix, Pandora, etc on it but doesn't have hulu.
