A: All HDMI ports on this TV are HDMI 2.0, compared to normal HDMI 1.4. This simply means that the TV's HDMI ports have a much higher bandwidth. Feel free to use whichever you prefer as long as your sound bar has an HDMI pass through to return the signal to your TV. Otherwise, I'd recommend using an optical cable or simply an AV cable which is more than capable for transmitting 2.0 stereo sound.

Q: Is the screen matte or shiny?
A: That was one of my concerns when I was on the market for a TV because my living room has a lot of windows. I wound up getting this TV because the in-store team member at Best Buy said this TV would not reflect a lot of light. The screen itself is not exactly "matte," but it is far from glossy/shiny. It does well enough when it comes to preventing any glare or reflection when it is on, but if you're quite particular about it, which I would assume by asking this question that you are, then this TV might not be the perfect match for you.
