This TV has the sharpest, clearest picture I have ever seen. The 50" screen is perfect for my living room. Even though the volume could be louder (I have it turned up to 65-70) I am still giving a 5 star rating because I have read reviews for LG, Samsung, Sony, etc., and they have the same complaint. The price was right (it was on sale) so I am pleased with my purchase.

The TV has beautiful image quality especially when playing Blu Rays, but it doesn't do well with fast motion images...they look blurry. Would recommend the TV for gaming or a bedroom, but not as your primary sports or movie Tv.

I've used this TV for just under a year. I've never had a problem with connectivity, and works with virtuously everything. This Sharp AQUOS TV is compatible with all new technology and older technology alike. Sharps customer service and product online help is bar-none the best I've dealt with.

TV came in fairly quickly but as an open box item had no original packaging. I don't know what the people who packaged this TV were thinking but it had one layer of cheap bubble wrap inside the generic box as protection. No styrofoam even on the corners. Needless to say the TV arrived with the screen broken in several places. And even though BestBuy had other open box of this TV listed on the website they would only issue a refund, that wouldn't be processed until 2 days AFTER UPS showed up to pick up the TV. Every one of my recent interactions with BestBuy is pushing me to find another electronics provider for my family.

I got the TV days before Thanksgiving. Best Buy gave me a price match and there was just one piece left in stock. A decent 50 inches 4K tv at a great price. Why not? The picture is great upto now. Features are pretty standard. I mostly watch Netflix and Use Xbox on it. The only problem with the TV is its software. I constantly get prompted to update to an available updated software version. I turned the automatic network updates off, but the message still appears. Sometimes the TV turns on by itself and the message appears. I checked on the product website and the latest software version was already installed in the TV. It's been a month now and the message just does not go away. You have to press Exit to dismiss it and continue to your Input of choice. And oh the remote! Garbage. Painful by all means. Didn't like just these few bits. The rest of the TV is pretty good by all means.

This television has a great picture with satisfactory sound. External speakers are highly recommended because of the tv's thin profile, however Sharp has done a good job of providing adequate sound for normal viewing. This tv is excellent for viewing blue ray DVDs and streaming Netflix is effortless. The remote control included with this unit is modern and compact but is light and slow to respond.

I bought this 50 " AQUOS TV to replace an older 45" AQUOS TV. Its overall footprint exactly matches the old TV, so I didn't have to move anything. The picture quality is outstanding. Seems be better than some Samsung HD TVs I also own. However, the Internet connectivity is a joke. I can't get it to connect to my home WiFi network without it dropping out. (I can't even check for a software upgrade.) Good thing I still have a ROKU box. I use that to connect to the WiFi, plugging its output into one of the HDMI ports on the TV. By the way, my Samsungs connect to this same Wi-Fi network with no problem, and I am able to get Netflix directly on those TVs, without requiring a ROKU box.

Got this as an open box item. Like the size & price. Wish that it had a wider viewing angle. The colors washout off to the sides. Netflix works well, Seems to randomly come on sometimes in the middle of the night but that may be the Roku or the Blu Ray triggering it to turn on. I like the abundance of HDMI ports. Also - the remote that comes with it is small, under powered and worthless- followed the advice to get a different Sharp remote ( did a google search to find a compatible one) and it works much better (LC 55In30U)

So far this had been a great TV. I have had it for a few now and I am happy with it for the most part. I would have given it 5 stars if it was 120hz refresh rate. Other then that I love the tv. Even though the 4k movies and shows are still coming out when you watch them, you just realize that you made a great purchase and know you won't need to upgrade your tv to a 4k. I play my PS3 online games and I am just taken back at the picture quality. All in all I am happy with my purchase just wish it was 120hz refresh rate.

Before looking at and purchasing this TV I had never owned a sharp aquos TV or anything from sharp. My sister and son in law always buy sharp so I decided to take a chance. The specs for this TV are misleading. Yes it is a good overall TV for the price I paid but it is missing some features that even my older 1080p Sony TV had. These missing features include native 120 refresh rate, the ability to change the input names and being able to navigate the menus with just the remote from my cable provider. Not a big deal but when I think of this as a replacement TV I think there should be more. The other thing missing and misleading is the lack of hulu and other smart features. Yes, I was upset to see the little amount of smart features that came with the TV. Overall for the price I paid and the TV comming with rca hookups for my older soundbar, hdcp 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 on all of the HDMI port plus the TV having the YouTube vp9 codec I think it is a good but not great buy. I sometimes think I shouldn't have been cheap in how much I wanted to spend and instead got the 810 50 inch model from Sony.

This TV is a great value for a 50" smart 4K, but the remote is a bit too basic for a smart TV (needs a full keyboard). However, you can work around this issue by using a smart phone as a remote. Picture is sharp and the apps are easy to use after updating the software. Will definitely enjoy for years to come.

Got this TV for $600, which is an amazing deal for an Ultra HD at 50 inches. I shopped around for weeks before deciding this was the best bet. In-store team members agreed that it was a good TV and a good price. The picture is phenomenal when you have Ultra HD content displayed on it (which is rare since cable providers don't put out Ultra HD signals yet, so the only Ultra HD stuff you can find right now is certain YouTube and Netflix streams and most BluRay content) and normal HD content looks nice. The TV speakers are less than exciting and I'll eventually get a sound bar or surround system to compensate for it. The TV does like to randomly turn itself on when no one is near the remote which gets annoying, but I've read that it's a common problem with most smart TVs. Overall it's a good TV and a great deal.

This tv works much better than our previous tv for Netflix, Vudu, etc. Also has other features like Accuweather which is nice to have. The picture quality is great. Great price for a quality tv. However, not thrilled with the remote, it is nice and small but no number buttons, not thrilled with the set up of the remote.

We are quite pleased with the quality and fidelity of this television. For the price, the rich colors and clarity of picture make this an excellent purchase. Back lighting could be a bit more intense, but all in all, we are happy with the purchase.

Picture quality on the TV is excellent. For the price, it couldn't be beat. Only thing that isn't the best is the controller, in my opinion. It's a little small and plastic, and has no number pad. However, we use our universal remote, so that doesn't really matter to us. Smart features are great.

I wanted to upgrade my television size from 40 inches to 50 inches. I never expected to find a 4k tv at the price Best Buy had this model. It looked fantastic in the store so my search was over...I had found it. The picture quality for all resolutions is fantastic. Although there aren't many programs in 4k at the moment I will be ready once more is available. I highly recommend using your smart tv setting to view some youtube 4k videos to get a feel for this tv once you purchase it. My family and I are really pleased with this television's visuals. The remote that comes with it is really small and seems fragile but it gets the job done. Also, the speakers are average so don't expect great sound without a home theatre. If a 50 inch HD TV is what you are looking for then this is a great buy. You will be 4k ready for a great price, too.

this has a great picture! very sharp and colorful. only complaint is you have to be directly in front of the screen and not venture too much to either side for the picture to stay true. If you are watching at an angle the color fades out and is not colorful.
