That is why I gave it 3 Stars.

We replaced a 40 in Vizio with this 50 in SHARP. What took us so long!!!!

The reason I took a star off is that my specific TV screen sometimes does not produce an image at its corners and/or center (dark patches). Specifically these "dark patches" sometimes do not show the image that is intended to be there. The dark patches do not last long and don't happen often so they are not a problem as of now.

Mounted on my wall and hooked up to my genie! Directv looks great in my Bedroom now! Picture quality is awesome! The Perfect TV for your Bedroom!

OK straight on but get at an angle and a picture looses its quality. I have not used all the smart features as of yet, but Netflix works well. I could only recommend this TV if the room was suitable for straight on viewing.

So Very Happy and Would Definitely recommend the Melrose Park IL store to anyone who needs electronics or more...

My Second Sharp TV

I read complaints by others and have the following response. A full motion wall mount in our master bedroom solves the complaint about color fading when not viewed directly. A sound bar with a wired woofer solves the complaint about TV Sound (all TVs have inadequate installed sound).. And an Amazon Fire TV box solves the complaint about not enough installed "smart " TV streaming connections.. With Fire TV all currently available 4k streaming is found, and the voice command feature makes finding anything more convenient (just say "4k" or "ultra HD" or the title you are looking for). There box is small and you can buy a mount for the back of the TV. Of course, professional installation eliminates all the wires. And we are fully "connected" with premium Verizon Fios, and subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. I noticed that some use Amazon Fire with the various free and pay streaming connections to "disconnect" from cable. I love Sharp TVs with their "sharp" and deeply colorful picture screens. But, since I read that Sharp sold its Mexican production facility to Hisense, and is discontinuing sales in North America, I also invested in a 5 year Geek Squad contract. So the prices of these wonderful sharp TVs are now discounted, and well worth the money in any size. Be aware that any brand 4k or HD TV will need extras to suit your needs.

We love it and get lots of questions about it in our living room!
