Fantastic tactical RPG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a tough tactical JRPG from the longstanding Shin Megami Tensei series. Unlike other tactical RPGs, in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker, you actually control the combat between units. This is a remake of a DS game and features a new story mode that took me around 25 hours to beat. I enjoyed the story and I would recommend it to those who played the original game.

An Excellent Remake to an Already Fantastic Game

Record Breaker takes the amazing original on Nintendo DS and enriches it with new content. The new fully voiced audio and polished visuals make it well worth the time of veterans to revisit, while the new Triangulum story nearly doubles the length and replayability for all players. Combine that with the fast-paced strategy/turn-based action, and deep mechanics like demon fusion and Skill Cracking, and Record Breaker takes Devil Survivor 2 from excellent to stellar.

An Awesome RPG

The characters are actually enjoyable and the soundtrack is very great. Unlike the older version on the 3DS, this one features a new chapter that will give the game more longevity.
