    I bought a year and a half before writing the review. It works well and has lasted. The plastic seemed a little brittle but I have not worried about it and it has not broken. I have carpet in the living room so the occasional drops are cushioned at least but it has held up well.

    I purchased this sideclick to replace my tv and cable remote while still using the firestick which uses radio frequency. Unfortunately for me, I learned that my comcast cable remote uses RF as well which the sideclick does not support.

    This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. With this device I was able to consolidate my tv, sound bar and hdmi switcher box remote functions and place them alongside my fire stick control. The only other remote I use is for my cable box to change channels.

    I use an old receiver for audio on my main TV. This works great. Just a heads up. There are no codes. You have to use an existing remote to program. I did use an old universal remote that accepts codes to program one function. The nice thing is each button can be used on a unique device. Great flexibility.
