This is a great addition to the Fire Remote. It eliminates the need for additional remotes for your TV and soundbar. My only complaint is the IR beam is a bit narrow, requiring the remote to be pointed directly at the components.

Pro: -Adds buttons for some basic functions. -Programs from your old remote easily -Fit old and new FireTV (two brackets included) Con: -IR Power is weaker than a standard remote. Works fine if you have a direct line of sight, within 15 feet. Over that, or any partial obstruction makes the buttons intermittent. -Doesn't hold tight to the newer FireTV remotes. Slides kind of easily. (Note - It holds very tightly to the older ones without the voice button) -Should have more buttons so you wouldn't need to go to another remote -Batteries easy to put in but hard to get out... needs a little ribon below them.

Perfect for 1st gen Fire TV. Really enjoy the fact that the buttons are programmable. Good construction quality; I've dropped this a few times and nothing has become damaged.

This is a great item to use whenever you are at a RV Park that does not offer or have cable and your RV antenna does not bring in many channels. If you have a good WIFI connection great for finding old TV shows and movies to watch.

I use this to combine several remotes (DVD player, TV, Amazon Fire Stick, antenna) used for using streaming remotes. Works well, however, was a little harder to set up than what they stated.

The side click is a great addition to my Fire TV remote. Programming it was simple (although I did go to the website for a little instruction), and it makes controlling everything with one remote while using the fire tv a piece of cake.

Was a little hard to set up, but after a few tries and some putsing around I was able to figure it out. Really nice not having to have so many remotes out on my coffee table anymore.

We don't have cable, so we use it all the time. Since we don't have cable, we don't use the channel up/down or input. Those buttons become available for other things, like sleep timer, ...

Excellent idea except I cannot program the input. I can move the cursor to the HDMI I want to use, but cannot enter it. Otherwise it is perfect.

unique attachment to the fire tv remote that allows us to use just this one remote. programming for the tv was easy but had to look up codes. no biggie. once setup, simple to use.

This is an excellent product if you use an Amazon fire device. I would say that if you can get this at a good price, then it is a necessary addition. It allow me to only use 1 remote for my TV and Fire TV.

This device does the job of making a simple remote functionality to operate the TV. It does add some bulk to the remote overall and that's why I took one star off.

Very basic functionality, just a learning remote with key buttons like volume, power, etc. But it certainly beats keeping up with two remotes.

I haven't used this with my fire TV yet. I use it as a stand alone remote for things like car stereos or HDMI switches. I wish they would make a small learning remote that was normal shape.

Works well. Sets up easy enough. Don’t have to find the tv remote to power on and change the volume.

I only gave this 3 stars because I don’t know if it does everything it is capable of. I only use it for the fire stick and works well for that.

This unit attaches to the fire tv remote and you can use it to control Your tv without useing the tv remote control has a clip to attach it to the fire remote control so everything is there at your fingertips

It's O.K. Make the remote a bit clunky and odd feeling but more convenient.

My television remote power button has been going out, and instead of buying a whole new remote, I added this to my amazon remote, and now I don't have to worry about the button not working anymore.
