It works and does what its supposed to. It's super difficult to hold on too! It makes the remote wide and it also has a smooth surface.

we purchased the side click because we thought it was for using the tv ( we needed a new tv remote ) but the amazon firestick remote works on the tv itself!

It does work. But Frankly, I don't use it much because the FireTV remote pretty much does it all.

This is the second one I have purchased and they are great for when Alexa is having an off day and it is faster to use a remote.

This takes out the necessity of having to have multiple remotes. It’s a little tricky to assign buttons but once you do it’s all good from there

This is fairly easy to program and it makes my life easier to have everything work with one remote. Also, it uses a AAA battery instead of a coin battery like some of my remotes have.

Actually useless if you have newer model. I wish each new remotes were numbered instead of advertised as new, which is just confusing & misleading. It fit one of them. I cannot tell you the model.. I purchased for volume control. It sorta does, but can’t change channels or use voice. So.... pointless. Will return when locate packaging.

You definitely need this product when using the older Fire Stick remotes.....unless you enjoy shuffling between multiple remotes to control your TV experience.

Makes changing volume easier but not much else. I would sure pay more if these devices lite up.

Great product had difficulty initially programming. Customer service was quick to respond and recommend fix. Will not take program from newer smart remotes needs IR remote to learn from.

The sidekick works exactly as advertised. It makes life easier if you're only using one streaming device. The only hassle was that it took a few tries to get it programmed.

Got it for $15 bucks on Black Friday and works great. Programmable button is a big plus. Everyone needs to use the input button.

Why does Amazon not incorporate these features into the remove provided with the Fire tv box. It is bulky and awkward.

This thing is a great idea, but the product itself needs attention. It lets you learn any button you want, but keeps losing memory to some of those buttons. One of the main things you have to do with TV's these days is switch the source. I don't know about you, but I have a cable box and a Fire stick and most people have this cable stream combo. But it will not remember my source button for my TV. Oh well. It did remember the Volume buttons, so it got a three.

This remote is a great addition to my Fire TV. It is great only having to locate one remote to turn on the TV and operate the Fire TV. Highly recommended. It was easy to program too.

If you have an older fire stick (1st & 2nd editions), this sideclick is the perfect add-on for your viewing pleasure. Very well made. Highly recommended.

You will need to have the old remote in order to program the Sideclick. The remote learns the IR command from the original remote.
