This thing is amazing. It takes a little bit of time getting used to it if you've had the Fire TV for a while. Now, it just feels like it was naturally supposed to be there. It's very useful as I have been able to program several functions on my TV. This allows me to just have this All-in-One solution instead of having multiple remotes. I say durable because I have dropped it, and being scared to look at it, I slowly picked it up then noticed the clip became apart. However, it seems this part was well thought of that it simply snapped right into place. I love this thing!

I use this for TV + Fire TV box in my bedroom. In this case I bring my remote to my bed while watching streaming before nighty-night. So not having to fumble w/ 2 remotes (TV + FireTV) is really really nice. The remote has dedicated buttons for TV on/off, volume/channel - up/down, TV input selection, + (2) extra buttons that you can program for anything you like (in my case I have mute programmed to one & the other is nothing right now). Takes (2) AAA batteries, and just clips to the side of the FireTV remote. Works so well I bought a second for my elderly mother who uses it with her Roku. She isn't tech savy, and she loves it. I would give it 5 stars if it were even cheaper. :)

You gotta give the creators of this little device credit. It is a godsend for cord cutters juggling multiple remotes. Very well designed. Gets you down to one remote by providing essential input, volume and channel changing buttons to the Fire TV remote. Programming is easy. Works like a charm. Life is easier! The only reason it did not get 5 stars is the price, which is quite high for what it does. But it goes on sale a lot and if you have reward points to apply, it can get more reasonable pretty fast. Highly recommended.

I use this remote in my bedroom to control my TV along with the Fire TV remote it is attached to. It works better than the original TV remote. Thanks to the thoughtful inclusion of extra programmable buttons, I am able to do everything I need to do on a regular basis with this remote. I really enjoy using this remote and not having to pick up different remotes to watch TV and stream shows.

This is the best gadget I've bought this year! It seems solidly made, it takes seconds to program and then life gets just that little bit easier to no longer need an oversized complicated TV remote, I love it! Buy one seriously you won't regret it!

This remote has changed my streaming setup and for the better. I'm constantly using my FireTV whether it's for watching live or recorded OTA programming using the Tablo app, watching programming on the Vue service or just streaming Prime music while cleaning up. Because of Sidekick, I only have one simple remote to keep up with. It's a no frills remote that does exactly what you want it to do and you don't have to pay a hundred bucks for it. The Sideclick is also super simple to set up and use (especially for those who don't want to mess with all those scary technical things). I can't imagine using my FireTV without it!

Works perfectly every time. Programed all buttons on the first try. So convenient and easy to use. For those considering buying one, be aware that you need to have a functioning IR remote for your TV to teach this one. (Original or Universal that you have previously programed and works with your TV.) It does not work with program codes.

I cut the cord a while ago. Sideclick is a simple and elegant solution to the "too many remotes" problem. All of my old remotes are now collecting dust. Sideclick is perfect.

I backed this item on Kickstarter and have been amazed at the quality. I bought it for my bedroom where I have a Fire TV, TV, and receiver. The problem was that I kept losing one of the three remotes and having to search my room every time. A universal remote wasn't a great solution because I would lose the voice function of the remote. Thankfully, the Sideclick exists! The programmable buttons work well every time. I have more than enough buttons for general use. I only have to keep track of one remote. Plus, it is still relatively small for its size. I wouldn't use this in my living room where I have lots of devices and a lot of buttons. But for a small room where you just need basic remote functionality and the original remote? This product is a godsend.

I have several SideClick remotes for the Amazon FireTV remote and the Roku remote for several TVs. The IR remote works great with my TVs (although one TV, a Vizio, is primarily bluetooth, I was able to reset it in IR mode and learn the commands I needed). Really nice not to have to use two remotes to changes inputs, volume, power on or off TV as well as control the FireTV or Roku. Combined remotes feel a little large initially but the size grows on you and I can use a single hand to control my TV and streamer now. Highly recommend this product.

This is a great accessory. I went from needing 3 remotes to control my TV/FireTV/Receiver to just this 1. It's a great space-saver and sanity-saver!

I ordered this during the kickstarter campaign, and have therefore been using it for about 6 weeks now. It's durable (has survived multiple drops to hardwood floors without a scratch), easy to program, and makes having multiple devices so much simpler. We went from three remotes (sound bar, Amazon fire TV, and projector) to one remote that handles all the functions.

I purchased the sideclick through its Kickstarter campaign and love it! It controls the power and volume on my receiver, turns my TV on and off, and switches input sources. With it clipped to my Fire TV remote, it's the only remote I need if I am streaming. It also has the added benefit of making my FireTV remote a little larger so it's easier to find!

I backed this product on Kickstarter, and I've been so pleased with it. Before, I would always get the FireTV remote and TV remote separated, and it's a drag in 2016 to get my chunky booty up every time to search for the other remote. Now, they are bonded together, and I can control all the functions I need from the single remote. I love this thing.

I have the one for the Apple tv and it works perfectly! The fit and finish is great and matches. The set up took seconds. I am no longer losing my silly little apple remote in the couch and I have gone from 5 remotes to ONE!!! My life is complete with this nifty little invention!! GET YOURS NOW!!!!! Great addition helping me eliminate my TV and receiver remotes in the process. It has made watching the Firestick much easier for my wife. It was easy and fast to program the various buttons to whatever remote I wanted. The Firestick remote is held very snugly and the two together fit nicely in my hand. This is a good quality product.

We're a cordcutting family. We use our fire TV for streaming content. The sideclick can be easily programmed to replace both the TV remote and surround sound system. We programmed one button for TV on, one for input select, one for surround on, volume up and down, etc. we have one for our Roku in the bedroom as well.

My family has used our Sideclick for a few weeks now and all agree that it has improved our streaming experience. Now we always have the remote functions that we need in hand! The unit was well built, easy to configure, and simple to use. I am considering buying another one for my parents.

This is such a great product. It is slim, fits around the remote perfectly, and is easy to use and to setup. This is great for someone looking to avoid the more expensive universal remote options and trying to decrease the number of remotes laying around.

using the tv remote for the volume and keeping track of 2 separate remotes was a giant pain. This took 10 mins to put together and program. It works great and we love not having to hunt for 2 remotes anymore.
