Easy to set up attachment for your firestick remote. The newer firestick remote really doesn’t need this addition. Kind of handy with the older generation firestick remote. Kind of spendy.

This is a good remote buddy for Amazon Firestick you won’t be disappointed.

We cut the cable about 3 years ago, replacing a satellite TV subscription. This reduced our monthly video entertainment costs by 50%. We opted for the Amazon Fire TV devices and have found that this Sideclick attachment is a god-send. We no longer need to operate two separate remotes, one for the Fire TV device and one for the TV. This is an IR remote that provides 8 buttons that can be programmed from your TV remote. The typical assignments are for TV Power, Volume up/down, Channel up/down, TV Input (e.g. antenna input, HDMI1, HDMI2, etc.) and two additional buttons that can be used to control any other TV function or other IR-controlled device. When purchasing, be sure to buy the correct Sideclick attachment for your streaming device (e.g. Roku, etc.)

The side click won't replace the need for other remotes nor is it as versatile as a full blown universal remote. But when strictly watching content on the firestick it is all you need. Depending on how you program the buttons. Power and volume are givens, but I programmed the up and down arrows not as channel changers but to correspond with my sony tv up down arrows. I programmed the monitor looking button to the home button I programmed A to select and I can navigate back to my TV and select different inputs. The leaves the B button I just got surround sound system so I programmed it to my TVs display to check for Dolby (and picture resolution) But you could have other priorities. Could always use another button (C, D) but when watching the firestick I can leave my other remotes in their holsters

Very easy to set up and to transfer codes from another remote. My only complaint is that it’s not as snug as it should be. The attachment slides on the Firestick remote. It is handy to reduce the number of remotes to watch tv.

This thing is awesome. I programmed my tv to the main power button which gives control to the volume. I then programmed the A button to power my Bose speakers and the arrow buttons to control the volume if the Bose system. Love it and easy to setup.

Love this thing. I control my surround sound, tv, and FS all on 1 remote.

No longer using 4 remotes for my Fire TV. Exactly what I was looking for.

Works well with my Amazon fire stick. Now I can use one remote instead of two to control the volume on the TV. Sometimes the power button works but I would recommend this product if you're tired of using 2 remotes.

This remote will not work with ALL Toshiba Fire TV OEM remotes. However we have two Toshiba's. The remotes are slightly different. One has the volume buttons on the left row, the other in the middle lower part. It does not fit the one with the volume buttons in the middle but does fit the other one. Bonus because after I bought two I read it won't work with the Toshiba Fire TV. The memory function works as designed with easy programming. Set one for an LG Sound bar and the second for a home theater receiver. Really nice value at this price point.
