I will always keep this lens in my kit. It’s a versatile lens that works great for many different occasions.

After owning the lens a few weeks I've gotten to learn the quirks. Great all around prime lens on my canon 6d. Super sharp and produces awesome color. The autofocus does hunt a little bit but I'm sure all it needs is an adjustment with the usb dock -- that is purchased separately.

Great pictures. Fast auto focus. Can wait to test if once summer comes. Great picturs with flash outside

I absolutely love this lens. I've always wanted it and it did not disappoint. I used it at a wedding Saturday and it was glued to my 6d mark ii about 98% of the entire day. It's good for tight spaces as well as portraits and tack sharp. I would highly recommend anyone who's considering it to go for it.

its a good lens, expensive and can works on canons ,if you wanna use it with any Sony camera you need and adapter but the autofocus does not work that well

I bought this lens recently in hopes it would be just as great as the 50 that I own from Sigma. This lens focuses half the time but the other half the images are not sharp. Not super happy about this purchase. I will probably either sell or see if it gets cleaned if it's any better. Although I shouldn't be having to deal with this on a brand new lens. Just my thoughts.

Was looking for a less expensive canon equivalent and this is it!!! Wonderful and more cost effective!

This is my third Sigma lens I have purchased and I have no regrets. This lens is simply a dream to use and the results are nothing less than outstanding. The build quality of these Art lenses is superb, and your results will show it. I used this lens to take several pictures during a Halloween event. Because this event was in low light I thought I would have issues using it. My Canon EOS 6D and this 35mm never missed a beat and performed flawlessly in these conditions. The results were spectacular! The image quality is stunning with accurate color rendition and image sharpness. When the lens is wide open, the corners are a bit soft. However, the center of the image is tack sharp throughout range of the aperture. Vignetting is a little more pronounced wide open with obvious darkening of the corners, but this tends to get better by f/2.8 and gone by f/4. Images sharpness is best between f/4 and f/11, as the whole frame is tack sharp. The price point of this lens was also a huge factor for me when compared to native Canon lenses. It’s half the price and has as good if not better performance as that lens. It’s simply a great lens that anyone will enjoy using, especially when viewing the results. This lens is highly recommended.

LOVE this lens! I am a beginning photographer and I feel like it's upped my game by so much. The lens is pretty heavy but I have no issues with it.

I’ve had this for 2 years and I am purchasing a new lens because this lens has focusing issues. I thought it was my settings, but even when I have my aperture at 22, the focal point on the very front of the subject and studio lighting, it leaves subjects out of focus. I would not recommend this lens.
