Q: I have a rebel t6 will this lens fit ?
A: Yes Jacob, this ( as long as the canon version is purchased) is an EF mount. The entry level canon DSLR bodies are EF-S mounts, while the mid range and upper range DSLR bodies are EF mount. EF lenses can be mounted on EF-S bodies but EF-S lenses cannot be mounted on EF bodies. Hope that helps
A: Yes this will fit the rebel T5. This is a professional level lens that will make the most out of any situation. It is designed for full frame sensors, but can be used fine with a crop sensor canon camera like the T5. Only difference is that running it on a crop sensor will effectively change the focal length of the resulting image. Images shot with the T5 won't be as wide as an image shot with a 5D or 6D using the exact same lens. But the 35mm focal length (and it's crop sensor equivalent) is an excellent length for portraiture, landscapes, street photography, and just about anything else. Also, 35mm focal length is the closest to the human eye in terms of image distortion and field of view. So if that helps you compose your shots, go for it. In terms of picture quality, you'd be hard pressed to find something better.

Some items like your keys or wallet you just take everywhere you go because you just never know. For anyone with an EOS R series camera, add the RF50mm F1.8 STM lens to that list. As part of the EOS R System, it’s nice and compact thanks to its RF mount so you can shoot – and get a great shot – anywhere and anytime. Size isn’t all though. Those images will stand out, too, just like you intend whether on social media, or when sharing or printing, thanks to impressive optical features like a PMo aspherical lens to suppress aberrations, Super Spectra coating to reduce flaring and ghosting, and a large f/1.8 aperture for low-light shooting and beautiful bokeh. Pick it up and use it one time and you’ll see for yourself, and you won’t be able to leave the house without it.

I had been eyeing this lens for a while. I'm so happy I finally got it. The quality of this lens is amazing. The physical structure is not plastic and really made well. The image quality is amazing. I can get super crisp images with this lens. I am mainly a portrait photographer, and I can say this was worth the wait.

I was looking for a standard 35mm lens so that I can get more into portrait photography and I’m so glad I went with this one! I’ve been using a Tamron 18-400mm zoom lens for the nature photography that I enjoy shooting most of the time. This lens really allows you to get comfortable with manual settings. It’s also extremely sharp. Haven’t used it for portraits yet but I am very impressed with the results I have gotten so far. I am an amateur photographer but am looking to expand upon my skills. I probably could have gone a more cost efficient route with my skill level but I will be glad I went with this lens in the long run.
