This sensor was great as an add on for my existing SimpliSafe home system. I love that it is so easy to set up and the price point makes it very affordable!

I have sensors on all exterior doors and several windows. In terms of functionality, they work perfectly and are easily recognized by the base station. However, if you have metal frame windows, installation can be challenging as there is nowhere to stick the senor except on the glass. A burglar familiar with magnetic sensors will know how to use a magnet to defeat the reed switches inside the sensors (not good). I wound up screwing the senor onto the window handle which which hides it a bit but is still visible from the outside. I took off 2 points because Simplisafe support is useless. I contacted them twice about my installation concern and even sent pictures. They ignored my question.

Purchased to go with my simpisafe alarm system. I was short one on the last time. Haven't had to test how it works yet.
